- Ron del Barrilito Visitor Center - Since 1880, Ron del Barrilito has been made in the same way at Hacienda Santa Ana in Bayamón. 10/10 Experience - Amazing afternoon at the Barrilito Distillery. The property is such a peaceful oasis. The history and the traditions are impressive to hear about. I toured there years ago before the official visitor’s center opened and was able to interact with the family rum makers. The tour is guided now, much more structured but also more interactive, however retains all of its authenticity. Our tour guide Valeria was very knowledgeable, a great person to get to know and a wonderful ambassador to the Distillery.

Splurge for the Rum Tasting Tour or Mixology Tour. - Rating a 5 for the Best Pina Coloda EVER - best cocktail EVER - at the bar. You get 1 token for 1 free drink. Get the Pina Colada! If you want to sample their rums, go on the other tours. Coco was our guide - lovely. Wish the gift shop sold smaller bottles of their rum. Opt for this tour over corpirate Bacardi - support local!

Even If You’re Not Into Rum, You’ll Enjoy This Tour - The Ron del Barrilito tour was a fantastic experience. The place is absolutely pristine and, unlike many other attractions, it wasn’t packed with crowds, making it all the more enjoyable.
Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the distillery. It’s the oldest rum in Puerto Rico. It is truly impressive to walk past rows of barrels that had dates from decades ago.
The tasting was a great experience. We got to sample 4 different rums and get a better understanding of each one. We also received a token valid for a specialty drink or cocktail afterward. Just a heads-up: the drinks are strong, so make sure you’ve eaten beforehand!
All in all, a well-paced, informative, and enjoyable experience. Would 100% recommend if you’re in the area, or even if you’re not. Totally worth the trip.

El Mejor Ron en Puerto Rico! 🇵🇷 - Wow! What a great experience! Our tour guide, Marjorie was super knowledgeable, engaging, and made our tour both fun and informative. Aged in Spanish sherry casks, Ron del Barilito is to rum what hand crafted Sonoma county wine is to Gallo. An elevated experience that made me realize that I’d never really experienced rum before. We will only drink RDB from now on! Que rico ron de Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Cultural gem - A lot of historial information relayed in a friendly and relaxed format. Worth the price of entry. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. Would recommend to anyone.

You won't be disappointed! - This was the best tour of our vacation! We enjoyed hearing about the history. The smell of the barrels in storage was wonderful.
The cocktails we were served were delicious.We have a new appreciation for this rum and will definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

Friendly and Authentic Rum Tasting Tour - I visited with family and we made wonderful memories. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, they did not skimp on the complimentary beverage (you get to choose from a wide variety of options), and the tour is thorough. The guide was very positive and answered questions quickly, fully and offered options. The place is quaint and worth the money invested for the visit. It is a much better value than the Bacardi Rum tour.

Great Tour - We had a great time on this tour of an old distillery. Some of the rums we tasted were over 25 years old and simply wonderful. Not for everyone but if you enjoy history and great rum, well worth the price!

Not worth the money - First, excursion is 6 miles from cruise port. Taxi was $37 each way. Fifteen minutes reviewing two rooms in the owners original home. Another 15 minutes in the warehouse. You go inside visitor center and get one drink all for approx. $60. I would choose another excursion for the money.
