Take this tour! - This tour is a unique experience, for sure! The roads traveled to Omaha Beach were through pretty countryside. Bring a scarf for your neck and face because the wind is quite chilly while riding on the motorcycle. Remy and Philip were excellent guides with interesting information about D-Day and the cemeteries. Highly recommended.

Very sobering to see! - I wanted to share my feedback on the recent experience. It was truly exceptional. My guide demonstrated outstanding knowledge and made the entire process engaging and insightful. I especially appreciated how he challenged me with thoughtful questions throughout, which helped me fully grasp the significance and seriousness of this important event.

We loved the motorcycle tour so much we did it twice! - We are return customers of this company after enjoying a 2 hour tour last year in Honfleur. We really wanted to experience the Normandy WWII history the same way. We opted to do the full day tour. We spent the day with Remi. He was fantastic, he really knew his history and took the time to explain things in detail to us. He was so kind and funny and answered all our questions, I was so impressed by how much he knew! We saw so much in such a short time, while also having plenty of time to take it in and enjoy the day. One thing to note: when we booked for the first time I was worried about myself and my husband on this motorcycle situation because we are both tall. My husband is a big guy, like 6'2" football player big. We were both comfortable the whole day, the sidecar is very spacious and I actually ended up riding on the back of the motorcycle for most of the day comfortably! They provide the helmets and gloves. Note we did this in late November: we got lucky with a beautiful day but definitely recommend layering up for warmth! This is such a fun experience, I would recommend to anybody wanting to really get to see the D-Day beaches and learn the history along the way!

Hold on tight and enjoy! - This sidecar tour was a priceless memory we will talk about for a long time. Remy’s presentation was outstanding. From prioritizing the tour from the start; to coming equipped with everything to make our ride enjoyable; to his deep knowledge and understanding of each aspect of the D-Day invasion, he nailed it. In our 4 hour tour he covered the Allies’ preparation, the movements of that fateful day as well as the days after June 6th. He led us to places not the average tourist would visit and guided us into a deeper understanding of D-Day.

Best Tour Ever! - Fabulous! Solo traveler, did the 7 hour tour with Remi. It was one of the best tours I have ever done. It rained off and on but we zipped all over the French countryside with our raincoats, helmets and visors. I feel like I saw everything I had on my list. Remi was like a walking encyclopedia! He answered all of my questions and told me all kinds of things I had never heard or read about D Day and the days that followed. I am eager to return home and dive deeper into the details of this incredible period in our history! I highly recommend Remi, and the 7 hour tour with Retro Tour. It is definitely worth the cost.

Sidecar Ride through Normandy - Wow, amazing, stunning, and iconic is the only way to sum up my day. This was by far the best and will be the most memorable tour. Remi took me on a seven hour tour and exceeded my expectations. Classic ride, great driver, covered a lot of ground, and Remi really knows his history. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend. To say I highly recommend is an understatement.
