US History/ 5 stars + - Get experience! Matthew was very knowledgeable and an excellent guide. He knows his history well and I liked how he weaved a person interest story into each of our stops. Loved this small group experience of on 12.

This is a MUST see tour!! - My husband and I had the absolute best experience with this tour and had the best tour guide, Vigor!! He has so much knowledge of the WWII history and made this an incredible experience for us! The couples we were with all agreed Vigor was incredible and expresses such passion for this history. The Mercedes van ride was very comfortable ride for the whole day. We stopped at a market to get lunch and had such a nice picnic midday. My husband and I are in our early 30’s and were conflicted that this would be an “old person’s” tour, but we booked it anyways and we were so glad we did. If you come to Normandy you cannot miss this tour! We picked this tour because we are from the US and wanted to see the US history involvement in this tour. There was a good mix of ages and some of us went out for dinner afterwards in Bayeux and it was so nice! I would 100% recommend booking this tour!!

D-Day Tour - It is a full day tour. Small group. Tour guide maximized our time at the sites. The tour included tickets for all sites that needed them. Most sites were free entry. Igor did a great job explaining the events on D-Day.

Very good - I actually didn't make it to my tour. The train system betrayed me something awful. But the tour company went above and beyond to get me to the site on time. But the trains just wouldn't allowed. I appreciated that.

Adrienne knows his stuff - Adrien was a knowledgeable host. He made each site come alive. He kept everything low key but very enjoyable and would highly recommend. Pay attention to emails when you book because you may sign up for 8:30 pick up but be moved to the 9:30 group.

Unforgettable and moving experience - The experience surpassed my expectations. Tour was well organized in terms of time and stops. Our guide Lucas was extremely knowledgeable and easily answered every question about DDay that any of us had. It was a full day ending with watching the flags being lowered and taps being played at the American Cemetery-Avery moving experience. Lucas met us at the railway station in bayeux and brought us back there in plenty of time to get the 6:34 pm train back to Paris. This was easily one in the best tours I've been on. Five stars plus.

D-Day Tour - Today I had the pleasure of taking this tour with Lucas as our guide. He was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Although he is young he had great respect and honored the sacrifices that the U.S. and allied troops made to liberate France. He gave us enough time to see the sites visited and told many informative stories that brought the tour to life. I have a deeper appreciation for the people of Normandy and will forever remember this trip. Highly recommend taking this tour.

Subpar - Our guide didn’t really get out of the car and take us to the sites the way the other guides did. More like an Uber than a tour guide. He was nice enough, but he flipped through his notebook either in the car or outside the car depending on whether or not it was raining. “Meet me back at the van in 45 minutes.” The other tour guides carried the same notebook and used it but also explained information at the site – for example, one of the other guides was talking about Lancaster who dropped the bombs and how it’s payload compared with other planes during the war. Another talked about how the Germans tried to plaster the bunkers with sand to make them look camouflaged but it didn’t work. For this kind of money – upwards of $500 for three people – I expected a much more detailed, hands on tour. Pretty blue eyes, very nice man, alas, Stephen is lazy. I wouldn’t mind a credit. I go on a lot of TripAdvisor tours when I travel and this tour, which was so important to my history of nephew, was sorely lacking. Nancy Venditti
