Fabulous D-Day tour - Mathis ( Matthew) was an excellent guide today. He was extremely knowledgeable and D-Day history is definitely his area of expertise. He was accommodating and very friendly so our tour was fabulous. We would highly recommend this tour and if Mathis is your guide, you are extremely fortunate!

Breathtaking trip with excellent guide! - We had the most amazing guide. Her name was Axelle. Extremely knowledgeable, passionate young lady. Excellent itinerary, we had time for everything, even though there were quite a lot of places to be seen. Our guide handled this difficult task masterfully.

Highlight of our trip to France - Our major goal when coming to France was to take a tour of the D-Day beaches and American Cemetery. Our tour was booked through our Hotel Belle Normandy in Bayeux and what a great choice. Picking us up at the hotel, our guide Amandine was a treat from start to finish. She gave a running informative commentary until our first stop in St Mer Eglise and answered all our questions along the way. At each subsequent stop and location she gave informative information on the historic occurrences and then let us explore on our own to take in the experience of those who fought on the beaches and cliffs. When we asked about the statue of Dick Winters or the Hedgerows, she took us there to take pictures. We bought sandwiches in St Mer Eglise and a highlight was eating them on the dunes at Utah Beach. A great Tour and great guide in Amandine.

Full Day Omaha and Utah beach tour - We did the full day D Day tour from Bayeux - the meeting place was just down the street from our hotel - very convenient. We met at 8:20 am and ended a little after 6pm, with a 1 hour stop for lunch in St Mere. Our guide was William. He was excellent and very knowledge. Answered many questions and gave us a good picture and explanation of what happened during D Day invasions and what went right and what went wrong. There were 14 in the group and the bus/shuttle was very comfortable. This was a very enjoyable, though emotionally moving tour. We are very happy we decided to do this tour. Communication with the company was good - we were initially told they were full, and offered another tour, but then I guess 2 spots opened up and we did get the tour we originally requested. I would recommend however that there be more time allotted to the Normandy American Memorial cemetery so that you have time to see the visitor center - we rushed through it but would have loved the opportunity for another 30 minutes at this stop. Maybe shaving off a few minutes from lunch or the other stops or just make the tour a bit longer. Since we will probably not have an opportunity to re-visit Normandy, this was our only disappointment about the tour.

Tour Of All Tours - From the moment we were greeted in the morning we were made to feel welcome. Our driver/guide Laurène (Gold Beach Company) for the day was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about everything on our itinerary and beyond! She covered pretty much everything, so when it came to ask questions we really didn't have many! Her driving skills were safe & professional. A real credit to her tour company! At lunch time we were taken to a wonderful place just outside of Carentan ( Boulangerie Snacking ) which was lovely and catered for all appetites. We covered everything during the day from St Marie Eglise Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Point-Du Hoc & finished at the large Normandy American Cemetery (Colleville-sur-Mer), with a couple off track memorials inbetween. I highly recommend this tour whether you're new to learning about D-Day or you are looking to fill in gaps in your own knowledge if you already have a genuine interest! I will definitely tell my friends & family about this experience too!

A must do in Normandy - Fantastic day. We took the full day tour to Omaha and Utah beach. There were 8 of us in a nice van with AC. We had Kate as our guide and she was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging throughout. She could answer any question that was asked in great depth. The tour was well organized and well thought-out to avoid the crowds at the major sites. We had ample time to view each monument and we did not miss anything. We could not recommend this tour enough.
