Normandy, France - Our guide was very informative and provided so much detail of the places we visited. I learned so much about D-Day. Visiting the American Cemetery in Normandy, France was very moving.

Excellent 1/2 day Tour - Valentin was an excellent and very passionate guide. He was very knowledgeable, you tell he really enjoys imparting his knowledge and provided just the right amount of background history to each of the three sites we visited. If you are looking for a half-day tour to see the highlights of the American D-Day sites I highly recommend this tour - you will not be disappointed and will leave with a better appreciation for what the Soldiers accomplished on D-Day.

Great glimpse of D - day area in 4 hours - Vic was our guide and he was excellent - very informative and knew loads about D - day Collected 8 of us on time and revised the tour due to traffic which was helpful The tour is done at a good pace which suited us . There was enough time for each place - just need to make sure you have warm clothing as the beach was cool Definitely recommend this tour

I only wish we had more time - I couldn't have asked for a more knowledge, thorough, passionate and experienced tour guide. My husband and I are big WWII buffs and (because of our limited time in Normandy) had considered doing a self-guided tour of Normandy. We are so grateful that we went with this tour and lucky enough to have Matt as a guide. He was knowledgeable beyond any source we'd be able to get our hands on. The stories told were well representative, authentic, and honored all countries of the War. I only wish we could have taken a full day tour with him. To top it off, we happen to be at the Normandy American Cemetery during the 81st anniversary of D-Day ceremony that was attended by 23 WWII veterans. I truly cannot believe how lucky we were to witness this once in a lifetime experience. In addition, the customer service provided through Ophorus was very responsive and accommodating to my family's needs. Should I have the opportunity to come back to Normandy, I'd most definitely book a tour through them again!

Great tour and tour guide - Our tour guide was a lovely English man named Matt. He was very animated, well informed, funny, and made the experience worth the train ride. He went into great detail about the history of the war and talked about interview details from those who knew were alive during the war. I recommend all who take this tour with Matt.

Most memorable - Great tour if you don’t have a full day. Our guide, Matt ( originally from UK) was fantastic. Animated, great story teller of historical events pre and post D Day. If everyone applied the same passion to there jobs, success would be inevitable.

Our guide’s knowledge was... - Our guide’s knowledge was unsurpassed! She made us aware of so many details that provided a much clearer picture of the sacrifices made by so many, giving us new perspective on this truly epic turning point in the war. Wonderful tour.

Wonderful Tour - Wonderful tour. Our tour guide Matt knew the locations and all the history. He was very passionate about the exact details and offered much more than the average guide. We went out, onto the beach at Omaha Beach, which was special. We saw a lot in half a day.
