Tour was an excellent... - Tour was an excellent tour of the town. Thought more of the abbey would be included. The guide was excellent.

Book this!! - Honore was a fantastic guide. He shared a lot of history about Mont St Michel from a variety of angles with enthusiasm and encouraging engagement. He also did a fantastic job of keeping our group together, avoiding the crowds, and making the tour fun for everyone, regardless of age. A must do in Mont St Michel.

Mt St Michele Tour- only way to go!! - Excellent guide who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Though we booked and English tour, he had to do the tour in French and English which slowed things down Would recommend this tour and this guide If you go to Mt St Michel and want to see the abbey, always get your abbey ticket in advance as part of the tour

The guide did not follow... - The guide did not follow the usual touristic path, which was quite, less people with great views on the Mont-Saint-Michel and the bay. The guide provided interesting historical information.

Guiding gives more! - It is so much worth going on a guided hike. It adds more depth to the experience. Otherwise, you just go past things that are super interesting. So here too. We got information about the tide, which plays a big role of course, and about history from far back. Would have liked to have had a little more focus on the story and also a little more chronologically, but even this was good. Nice guide that even our teenagers appreciated.

Not what we booked ! - Booked 2 hour guided tour which ended up no more 80 mins due to travelling time via shuttle to base of Mont and inefficiency of enduring a combined English and French language ( even though we had booked an exclusively English tour!) . The heat and odd tour route taken by the guide made the tour disappointing .

Very disappointing - This tour was disappointing on a number of fronts. Despite booking an English language only tour we were advised at the start that the tour would need to be dual language as a French only speaking couple had missed the earlier French only tour! This meant that we spent far too much time waiting for all information to be translated. Given the very hot conditions this resulted in a lot of ‘waiting around’ in the heat. The tour was booked as a 2 hour guided tour but this included the the 15-30 minutes waiting for the additional guests and getting from the meet point to the Mont. The tour content was heavy on climate/ sea conditions and light on historical facts. Despite the fact that we started late , had covered little content , the guide left us quite a way short of the entrance to the Abbey . The total tour time was no more than 80 mins. Every one of our English speaking group of 8 persons ( 4 Brits and 6 Americans) shared the sentiments of this feedback. Despite raising this disappointment with both Viator ( through whom we had booked the tour) and ATG we have received no response what so ever . Will not use either company again.

Odd Tour, not recommended. - A two hour walking tour became an hour and 20 minutes after the bus ride to the island. The “back door” routing was meandering and odd. We booked an English tour and they instead did a duplicate French description at each stop. It wasn’t a polished as other tour leaders we overheard. So, I’d pick a different group if I was to do it again.

Miss advertised. Very brief tour. - This is not a two hour guided tour as described. It took 40 minutes to even start the tour and get going. On top of that one of the guides did not show up so our guide had twice the size of the group and had to say everything in two languages. Cut our information in half. Very disappointing.
