Amazing experience. - This trip was memorable. The desert experience was unforgettable and the food was delicious. Communication from Mustafa before the trip was excellent and my dietary requirements were met. The pick up from our hotel was punctual. Mustafa is extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Sorry don’t remember the driver’s name but we were in safe hands! I would give this trip more than 5 stars if that were possible. Highly recommended

An unforgettable desert experience - We were picked up from our hotel by a Toyota 4x4 driver, accompanied by our guide Bashar, who speaks perfect French. Bashar has proved to be a veritable source of information on the history, nature and culture of the region and Egypt. After a traditional Bedouin black tea, we walked down the canyon before climbing it. During the ascent, Bashar showed us many fossils as well as natural cavities. We were delighted to have tried this climb. Note that in case of medical problem or incompatibility with this ascent, it is possible to bypass the area by 4x4. Still, you need a minimum of physical condition, as some rocks to climb are quite high, but Bashar knows the route as his pocket and was extremely considerate towards my parents (75 years old), less assured during the climb. We then joined a private barbecue organized by the Bedouins, quietly installed and protected by a small cliff. The desert meal was delicious and generous (keftas, chicken, rice, patties and tahini). After dinner, we were able to observe the starry sky which was absolutely splendid away from the city lights and in the absolute calm of the desert. We highly recommend this experience, which ended our trip to Hurghada in a unique way. The price is fully justified: an almost private outing, much less touristic than those offered by the competition. A special mention also to our excellent driver, who has mastered the driving of the 4x4 in the desert and sand!

A trip not to be missed - **Perfect organization and fair prices** From booking to execution, the organization was simply first class. Everything went exactly according to plan, and the times were always kept. The price-performance ratio is particularly noteworthy. For what was offered, the price was absolutely fair and definitely worth every cent. **A guide that wins hearts** Our guide was just fantastic! Super sympathetic, warm and always ready to respond to our questions and wishes. He not only guided us safely through the desert, but also provided us with exciting and impressive information about the history, geography and nature of the region. His enthusiasm was infectious – it was obvious that he loved the desert and wanted to share his fascination with us. **Dinner and stars – the crowning glory of the day** The absolute highlight of the trip was dinner in the middle of the desert, directly under the starry sky, after dusk. The mood was magical: The air was pleasantly cool, the sand seemed like a soft carpet, and the candlelight atmosphere was simply fantastic. The food was delicious and prepared with a lot of love – a feast for the senses! But the most impressive thing was stargazing together. Without the lights of the city, the stars are as clear and sparkling as ever, and our guide even taught us some constellations. **Conclusion** This trip was perfectly organized, incredibly well accompanied and peppered with unique moments. I can recommend it to anyone who loves both nature and special experiences. This adventure has not only provided me with impressive landscapes, but also a large portion of relaxation and beautiful memories. Just great!

Unforgettable desert safari with nature experience, fossils and star magic - 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Unforgettable desert safari with nature experience, fossils and star magic The approximately 6 hours long desert safari with the Gazelle Crossover Safari Team was an absolute highlight of our Hurghada holiday! Even the journey through the impressive landscape was fascinating, but I was particularly impressed by Moustafa’s expert explanations of the rock formations – including fossil shells, other fossil finds and rock images (reclining camel, horse head – chess piece) that impressively reveal the region’s prehistoric history. A real paradise for geology and nature lovers! The sunset behind the mountains was magical: The colors of the sky changed from gold to deep orange, while the silence of the desert created a very special atmosphere. The open-air dinner was excellent – traditional, lovingly prepared by the Gazelle Crossover Safari team and served amidst nature. A culinary experience with authentic flair. Finally, we were allowed to observe the clear starry sky, away from light pollution. Various constellations such as the little bear were clearly visible, and with a bit of luck we could even spot shooting stars. A moment of calm and awe. 📌 Conclusion: This tour perfectly combines adventure, knowledge, enjoyment and nature experience – conveyed by Moustafa. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience the desert with all their senses! Thanks for this very interesting afternoon and evening.

It was fantastically beautiful:-) - We were traveling as a private tour. Our guide was very nice and showed and explained a lot to us. We were only a little through the desert and a valley (there we were shown fossils). Then we are high on a mountain, there the guide and the driver have a carpet, with dates and pears( ?) laid down, with tea. We had the best sunset there ..... after that we drove on, where there was a table for us, with grilled... The food was incredibly delicious. What was very noticeable, everyone who made this all possible for us, always kept very much in the background (were always behind the cars) We were really like alone in the desert .... saw the stars lying on the carpet, around us was a total silence . For us as a couple, which is just getting to know each other, it was the most romantic thing there could be. A memory that will be hard to top!

Fantastic, unique experience! - We were picked up by Mustafa and a driver in a jeep and driven to the desert. Along the way, we received a wealth of interesting information and explanations about the region's history and nature. We walked through the valley and saw numerous fossils. After a traditional coffee, we climbed the mountain. A fun challenge for children! Once at the top, you feel like you're on top of the world. There, we witnessed a beautiful sunset. A little further on, a private barbecue awaited us. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the desert! And after dinner, we enjoyed the radiant starry sky. It was beautiful! The excursion is adventurous, educational, and you become one with nature! Highly recommended! A truly fantastic and unique experience.

Unique experience - We recommend 100% this excursion. Moustafa is a very good guide but he is also friendly, humorous and with little care. The scenery is great, and I liked alternating the 4x4 with walks, which allows to enjoy differently. Very comfortable car, and qualitative and varied candlelight meal. We took the time to look at the stars. Superb afternoon that started at 4pm and ended at 10pm!

10000% recommend - Wow this tour was the best i've had in my life. I have never experienved anything so interesting and wonderful. It starts with you getting picked up straight at your hotel, the driver was lovely and funny. You are then taken to a meeting point at the start of the Sahara trail and here Mustafa joins you. What a brilliant tour guide he is. Mustafa speaks multiple languages and he is a Geologist and Egyptologist and you can hear and see his passion in the fossil valley and his knowledge on them is unmatched. Amd even though he does this your everyday, for man years, he has true excitement when telling you the information and history. The fossils are from 140 million years ago from when Egypt was under the water and wow it is beautiful and amazing to see! You get to watch the sunset and also are cooked the BEST meal of my life. Traditional Egyptian food, under the stars, freshly made by chefs in the Sahara!!! I honestly think everyone needs to experience this trip with Mustafa as it really is the best thing i have ever done. Highly recommend.

incredible experience - Highly recommend this trip. Mustafa, the guide, is an Egyptologist and Geologist that speaks many languages and has a vast knowledge of Egypt and the Sahara. The tour takes you from your Hurghada hotel to 40km into the desert, starting at a real Bedouin village. There, you are given lots of tea and fresh fruit, amazing hospitality and stories from the locals and Mustafa, super interesting. The village was a real experience, not one that has been commercialised with sellers and tourist traps - it was proper Bedouin and the people were wonderful. After this, you ride further into the Sahara until you come to a valley full of beautiful fossilised shells and corals that have been there for around 140 million years, when Egypt was under the water! it doesn't stop there, you are then taken to a very cool cave that is natural in the surrounding hills, with a stunning view at the top. Then they take you up to the top to watch the sunset and relax. The driver is so impressive in navigating you safely around this terrain. Then lastly you have a candlelit dinner in the valley with the best food I've ever tasted, freshly made from a chef IN THE DESERT! So cool and lovely. The hospitality really is incredible and Mustafa and the drivers and the Bedouins are fantastic people. i couldn't recommend anything more than I recommend this trip. Easily 5 stars.
