Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Meet an English-speaking guide in the lobby of the Beijing hotel at 8:00 am. Head to Tian’anmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang).

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Continue to the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace).

Temple of Heaven - En route to the Temple of Heaven (Tian tan), visit a silk museum to learn about traditional silk culture. After a brief stop, enjoy a typical Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

Next, visit the Temple of Heaven (Tian tan), and finally, explore the impressive Summer Palace (Yiheyuan), the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden, before returning to the hotel.

Beijing - Mutianyu Great Wall (L)

Mutianyu Great Wall - On the second day, depart from the hotel at 8:00 am to visit China’s top attraction, the Mutianyu Great Wall. Enjoy a Chinese lunch at the authentic Chinese Jade restaurant, where you can also experience the fascinating ancient Chinese jade culture. Afterward, transfer to the airport for the domestic flight “MU5116; Beijing to Shanghai; 15:05 pm - 17:15 pm.” A Shanghai driver will pick you up from the airport and take you back to the Shanghai hotel.

Shanghai - Shanghai Museum, Jade Buddha Temple, and Yuyuan Garden (L)

Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - The private Shanghai tour begins at 8:30 am with pickup from the hotel, heading straight to People’s Square (Renmin Guang Chang) to explore the Shanghai Museum.

Jade Buddha Temple - Marvel at numerous examples of Chinese art before proceeding to the Jade Buddha Temple (Yufo Si), a functioning temple home to 75 resident monks and a gigantic sitting Buddha.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - The next stop is Yuyuan Garden, an outdoor space that showcases the art of Chinese landscape design.

The Bund - Visit the Bund (Waitan) to capture photos in the grand center of colonial Shanghai, then return to the hotel.

Hangzhou - Meijiawu Tea Village and West Lake Cruise

West Lake (Xi Hu) - After pickup at the central Shanghai hotel at 8:00 am, embark on a roughly 2-hour journey to Hangzhou, then board a sightseeing boat for a leisurely lake cruise. As you glide over the calm waters, enjoy the surrounding scenery of weeping willows, pagodas, and gatehouses, all set against the lush hills and skyline of Hangzhou.

Lingyin Temple - Explore Lingyin Temple, the city’s most renowned Buddhist temple, also known as the ‘Temple of the Soul’s Retreat.’ Climb to the temple and explore its highlights with a guide. Admire the elaborate halls, courtyards, and corridors, and view the statues and Buddhist relics while learning about the building’s history.

Meijiawu - Visit Meijiawu, a tea farming village nestled in bright green terraced hills. Comprising more than 500 households, Meijiawu is a famous production area for fragrant Dragon Well Tea. Tour the village to see its charming tea houses and learn about local tea culture, then return to the hotel.
