Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

Beijing - Your private guide will meet you in the hotel lobby. Pickup time is flexible based on your request, and we will contact you in advance to confirm the exact time. You’ll then travel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to enjoy the tour.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Head to Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the surrounding sites and take some amazing photos. You can also see The Great Hall of the People on the west side, which is the national congress hall, often referred to as China’s “White House.”

Monument of the People’s Heroes - Walk past.

Great Hall of the People (Renmin Dahuitang) - Walk past.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Next, we walk to the Forbidden City from Tiananmen Gate. The Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved imperial palace in the world. We’ll spend a couple of hours exploring this incredible example of Imperial architecture and learning about its history.

Meridian Gate (Wu Men) - Walk past.

Hall of Preserving Harmony (Baohedian) - Inside the Forbidden City.

Hall of Great Harmony (Taihe Dian) - Inside the Forbidden City.

Temple of Heaven - Afterward, we will embark on a peaceful journey to the Temple of Heaven, immersing ourselves in its rich history and serene ambiance. It promises to be a perfect blend of culinary delight and cultural exploration.

Beijing - After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel. If you prefer to have dinner, we can drop you off at a downtown restaurant instead of the hotel.

Mutianyu Great Wall and Olympic Center

Mutianyu Great Wall - It takes about a 1.5-hour drive to reach the Great Wall at Mutianyu from downtown Beijing. Upon arrival, it will take around half an hour to get to the Great Wall, including time for buying tickets, using the restroom, and walking to the cable car or chairlift station.

Olympic Park - Afterward, transfer to Olympic Park to take photos of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.

Niaochao National Stadium - Take photos.

Water Cube - Take photos.

Beijing - After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel. If you prefer to have dinner in downtown Beijing, we can drop you off at a restaurant instead of the hotel.

Summer Palace, Hutong Rickshaw, and Lama Temple

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - The Summer Palace is a summer resort for Imperial Family Members and is considered the best-preserved Imperial Park. It was the royal garden in the past. There are many beautiful pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges, a huge lake, and corridors. The Long Corridor is the longest in the world and is listed in the Guinness World Records. You will also see the famous Seventeen Arches Bridge, Qingyan Stone Boat, Kunming Lake, and Longevity Hill.

Long Corridor at the Summer Palace - Walk along the longest man-made corridor in the world, listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, and touch the old history.

Tower of Buddhist Incense (Summer Palace) - If you have enough energy, you can climb up to get a bird’s-eye view of Kunming Lake.

Qingyan Stone Boat - A marble boat that is a foreign-style superstructure, symbolizing the stability of the Qing Dynasty.

Kunming Lake - You will see this in the Summer Palace. If the weather is good, we will take a boat to Nanhu Island.

Hutong Tour - After lunch, explore the city’s charm with a scenic hutong rickshaw tour. It’s a fantastic way to soak in the vibrant culture and history of Beijing’s ancient alleyways while enjoying the open air.

Lama Temple (Yonghegong) - After the rickshaw tour, we’ll head straight to the Lama Temple. It’s a serene place where we can immerse ourselves in Beijing’s culture and spirituality amidst its beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere.

Beijing - After the tour, we will take you back to your hotel. If you need to catch a flight or train, please inform us in advance. The extra service fee should be paid in cash to your driver. No worries, the extra service fee is reasonable.
