• Temple of Heaven - Meet the private guide at the hotel lobby at 8:30 a.m. The first stop is The Temple of Heaven. Constructed in 1420 and covering 674 acres, it is the largest religious worship building in China. Originally, it was used by the Ming and Qing emperors to honor Heaven and pray for a bountiful harvest. It’s a delightful park to spend an hour or two, enjoying the singing and music, and observing the locals in their daily activities.
• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Following the Temple of Heaven, the tour proceeds to Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square globally. Named after the Tiananmen Gate (Gate of Heavenly Peace) to its North, it separates the square from the Forbidden City. The square holds significant cultural importance as the site of several key events in Chinese history.
• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Next is the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty, located in the heart of Beijing. For nearly 600 years, it was the residence of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of the Chinese government.
  Tip: Forbidden City tickets can be booked a week in advance. If sold out, Jinshan Hill offers a panoramic view of the Forbidden City, and the guide will take visitors to a nearby location. If this option is not suitable, a full refund will be provided.
• Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After enjoying an authentic Chinese lunch, the tour continues to the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden. Once a summer retreat for emperors, this 716-acre park remains a haven for tourists, who can relax or stroll through ancient pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges, and a vast lake, with occasional stops at shops or tea houses. The beautifully landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions, and corridors are harmoniously set around the lake and rivers.

The tour concludes with a transfer back to the hotel.

• Tour duration is 8-9 hours. If you want to extend the tour, please pay 15 USD to your driver and 15 USD to your guide for each extra hour
• Tip: the Forbidden City ticket is not guaranteed. It can be booked 1 week before. If it is sold out, you will do the Jinshan Hill to have a bird view of the Forbidden City and your guide will take you to the place where quite close to it. If not work for you, you will get fully refund.
