The Great Wall at Mutianyu is slightly further from Beijing than the more frequented Badaling section, but it is less crowded. This part of the Wall is completely restored, featuring handrails to assist on the steeper sections, and offers breathtaking views.
- Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - Following a delightful lunch at local Chinese restaurants, the tour will proceed to the Ming Tombs. These tombs are the resting places of thirteen emperors from the Ming dynasty and represent the largest collection of imperial cemeteries in China. The construction began in 1409 with the Changling Tomb for Emperor Zhu Di and concluded in 1644 with the burial of Emperor Chongzhen in the Siling Tomb. Three sections are open to the public: the Sacred Way, Changling Tomb, and Dingling Tomb. The Sacred Way, the first attraction of the Ming Tombs, is a main path leading to the thirteen imperial tombs within the scenic area. The highlight of the Sacred Way is the two rows of lifelike stone sculptures (12 animals and 6 officials) on either side, which are very popular with visitors.
Among the Ming Tombs, Changling is the largest, earliest, and most magnificent, with the best-preserved structures. Dingling is the only tomb where the underground palace has been excavated. You can visit one of these based on your interests.
After completing the tour of the Great Wall and the Ming Tombs, you will be transported back to your hotel.

The Great Wall of China - We have had amazing experience with the guide Ling :) she picked us up from the hotel and dropped off after the trip. The day was super enjoyable and fun experience. Fully recommended if u want to visit the Great Wall of China and u have limited time.

A great experience - We had a great tour with Sally! Visiting the Great Wall and Ming Tombs, everything went super smooth. We did not even need to queue anywhere. Sally shared a lot of interesting information for us of the places we visited and the things we saw. A warm recommendation for this tour!

The Great wall - Visiting the Great Wall was a truly unforgettable experience, made even more special by our amazing driver and guide. From the moment we met her, she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and enjoying every moment.
She took her time to explain everything clearly, brought us water, and even offered to take photos of us — she knew all the best angles and tricks to get great shots! It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the day even better.
What stood out the most was her kindness and genuine care. She was incredibly sweet, patient, and made us feel like more than just tourists. It truly felt like we were being shown around by a friend who wanted us to have the best experience possible.

Best tour - Such a lovely trip . And the tour guide ‘ ling ‘ she’s so lovely and she took care of us all . She told us about the history of china and i love it and enjoy it so much . Hope i can come again to do it

Great way to spend the day in comfort!! - Such a great experience! Very Safe driver and we loved Sally our guide who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The private car was very clean and extremely comfortable. Starting the tour as early as possible and leaving Beijing early helped us to avoid the traffic and long lines that we saw as we were finishing the locations. 5 stars for sure!!
