Increíble supportive and friendly - Larry was extremely nice and supportive. We had an issue with another company for this tour: we contacted them, had no reply from them until 24 hours before the tour when we had already paid Larry’s one. however, they had already blocked our passports and Larry could not proceed with his service. Despite all this confusion he was very helpful clarifying and refunded. Thank you again Larry

Stayover absolutely make it pay off - It was a huge advantage to book tickets in advance through Viator. In China, it is far from easy to buy tickets – either online or locally. Unlike in many other countries, there are no ticket vendors at the entrance and no shops where you can buy tickets. The ticket purchase works practically exclusively online. Those who don’t speak Chinese and don’t have Chinese apps for payment and registration quickly face major problems. That's exactly why this service was extremely helpful for me and worked flawlessly. I received the tickets by e-mail even before I travelled to Beijing by plane. This gave me a lot of security and saved me a lot of stress on the spot. I was also lucky with my arrival time: The landing was at 5:00 a.m. At the airport you could choose between Metro (from 6:30 a.m.) and airport bus (from 6:00 a.m.). Both options are very cheap. The big advantage of the airport bus is the travel time of about 45 minutes and the direct stop at Tian’anmen Square. From there we went directly to the entrance, but you have to pass several security checks (about four in total). Tickets are checked almost everywhere, both at Tian’anmen Square and later at the Forbidden City – no entry is possible without a valid ticket. It is also important to know that the ticket is only valid for Tian’anmen Square. Additional tickets must be booked separately for museums or other attractions. A helpful tip: If possible, do not take bags or backpacks. Security checks are in place at almost every attraction, and longer waiting times are created with bags. Without a bag, you can use special quick lines where only the passport or ID is checked. The walk from Tian’anmen Square to the Forbidden City takes only about 10 minutes. However, you should first check exactly where the right exit is, as many areas are blocked off and otherwise you have to make a big detour. The Forbidden City itself is impressive and very extensive. It took me about two hours to view it. Although the buildings and temples are very similar, so the interest after some stops decreases somewhat, the complex is absolutely worth seeing. Especially beautiful is the Emperor's garden at the end of the Forbidden City. The exit is located on the opposite side of the system. Highly recommended is the ascent to the mountain with the temple, from which you have a great view over the Forbidden City. From there you can get back to the airport quickly and easily by metro. Overall, the process was perfect for me: Arrival at 5:00 am and departure at 5:00 pm. Enough time to visit Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City in a relaxed way – and there may even be time for more sights. An excellently organized service that saves a lot of time and is highly recommended especially for international travelers.

The easiest way to book tickets to Tiannanmen Square and Forbidden City. - This service greatly facilitates the life of the foreign tourist, since the Chinese reservation services of the square and the Forbidden City are very difficult to understand.
