Come Hungry, Leave Happy - A combination of two of my favorite activities when traveling to a new place: walking around the city to understand its history and eating the best food. And that's what Cassie was able to do for my mom and I during our delicious afternoon exploring the Dongsi Hutong area of Beijing. Cassie was wonderful. She took us to a variety of different restaurants, and was really great about accommodating allergies and dietary restrictions. Pace yourself throughout the afternoon, there is a lot of food to try. So many different types of noodles, delicious beef dumplings, tasty street food, and jian bing galore. When Cassie says you don't have to finish everything, listen to her! She's the expert. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Ask for Cassie! And make sure you try the douzhi. You can't take a trip to Beijing without sampling this quintessential dish.

Definitely worth the investment. - This is very good way to experience a truly local cuisine. It’s walking based and some travel; with several or more stops to experience street food and other dishes. I would temper expectations to a truly local cuisine, rather than something decadent and western in diet. I am very grateful for the experience and it gave me a chance to ask questions regarding the overall Chinese experience and logistics, for my own personal use and travel. Lucy was my guide, she was sincere and helpful and spoke very good English.

Great Beijing food tour - We had a wonderful time with Miko. The food experience was amazing with the variety of different foods that we tried. Our favourite was the jian bing and the dumplings. The food stops were planned well and not too much walking involved. Miko was very attentive and also gave us little history lessons. He was easy going and a great guide.

An amazing experience of eating at local places - Exploring the vibrant Hutong Area of Beijing on a food tour guided by the amazing Kevin was an unforgettable experience! Kevin’s passion for the local culture and cuisine was infectious, making the evening both educational and delicious. The tour felt intimate and special as we meandered through the narrow alleyways, discovering hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. Each stop offered a new culinary delight, from savory dumplings to sweet sesame treats, with Kevin enthusiastically explaining the stories and traditions behind every dish. His knowledge and charisma kept the group engaged and excited throughout. This tour was a perfect blend of history, culture, and flavors, and Kevin’s warmth truly elevated the experience. Highly recommended for foodies and adventurers alike!

Eat like a local in the Hutongs - Miko took us on a superb tour of the best eateries in the Beijing Hutongs today. We started with an adventure on the subway (and an invaluable lesson on how to navigate it), and then straight into the food! Between food stops we walked through the alleyways and got a lesson in the history and culture of the area. This was a great way to spend the day, and Miko was able to accommodate all of our needs and deliver an A grade experience! I would happily recommend him and this tour to anyone wanting to find the best local places to eat.

A food tour with Lucy. - The choice of food places was so authentic. Not touristy at all. No way we could’ve had such a food experience without a guide. Lucy knew exactly what would be interesting for us. And a very interesting person to chat with as well. Learnt a lot about the area we were in as well as China at large. And, importantly, the food was great! Couldn’t eat it all! Highly recommended.
