• Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - The tour guide will meet the group in the hotel lobby at 08:30 a.m. From there, the group will travel to Tian’anmen Square using public transportation to begin the highlight day tour.

• Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The grand Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex worldwide. It boasts 9,999 rooms, just one shy of the number symbolizing ‘Divine Perfection’ in ancient Chinese belief, and is surrounded by a six-meter-deep moat and a ten-meter-high wall. For five centuries, this palace served as the country’s administrative center. Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the city’s most visited attractions.
  The tour guide will lead the group through several palaces, including the opulent Antiquarian of the Palace Museum (Treasures Museum). The guide’s engaging commentary will provide insights into the ancient history, culture, and traditions that shaped the Forbidden City.
  At noon, the group will enjoy traditional Beijing cuisine - Noodles with Soybean Paste (Zhajiang Mian). Zhajiang mian is a popular traditional Beijing dish, often simply called Beijing noodles.
• Jingshan Park (Jingshan Gongyuan) - Jingshan Park is beautifully landscaped with hills to climb, clear lakes, and dignified ancient buildings. Once an imperial garden, it is now a tranquil public park.
  Located just north of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park offers the best panoramic view of the Forbidden City and central Beijing. The park remains open until 9 p.m. in summer and 8 p.m. in winter.
• Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Houhai, meaning “Back Sea,” is a large artificial lake in northern downtown Beijing. Along with Qianhai (Front Sea) and Xihai (West Sea), it forms Shichahai. Once reserved for the royal family during the Yuan Dynasty, the area has been a bustling commercial hub since then, with wine shops, workshops, and opera stages in ancient times. Today, it is open to everyone, featuring bars, cafes, tea houses, and restaurants, and is popular among foreign visitors and local youth.
  The group will stroll along Hutong, sample local snacks, and experience the local lifestyle.
• Yandai Xie Street - Known as Yandai Xiejie in Chinese, Yandaixie Street is one of Beijing’s oldest hutongs. Situated in the Xicheng District, it is near the famous Shichahai attractions.
  Historically, Yandaixiejie Street has been one of Beijing’s most vibrant commercial areas. The street is lined with closely packed stores offering a wide range of Beijing-themed souvenirs.
• Nanluoguxiang - Nanluoguxiang Hutong is renowned for its authentic Beijing ambiance. It features age-old siheyuans, archways, wall carvings, and former residences of socialites. Today, Nanluoguxiang Hutong showcases a unique blend of East and West, with new pubs and restaurants giving it a modern urban feel.
