Beijing - Your exciting 8-day China tour begins as you meet your expert local guide at Beijing Airport after collecting your luggage and passing through customs. A driver will transport you in a comfortable vehicle to your hotel and assist with the check-in process. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore the capital city at your leisure. (We can also arrange pickup from your location in Beijing)

Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Today marks the start of your unforgettable Beijing Xi’an Shanghai tour! Meet your fellow travelers in the hotel lobby at 08:30 for a 30-minute pre-trip meeting. Your guide will introduce themselves, welcome everyone, provide a brief overview of the trip, and explain the group travel guidelines. Prepare for the journey and take this opportunity to ask any questions about your trip.
Then, proceed to the first destination, Tiananmen Square, the largest urban city square in the world.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Next, enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City, to explore its captivating halls and pavilions. Discover how the emperor managed political affairs and lived, while admiring numerous ancient art treasures.

Temple of Heaven - At noon, enjoy an a la carte welcome lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at a fantastic local restaurant, where you can savor authentic Chinese cuisine and the renowned Peking Roast Duck.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors prayed for good harvests.

Mutianyu Great Wall with a round-trip cable car and outside view of Olympic National Stadium- Bird’s Nest and Water Cube

Mutianyu Great Wall - This morning, experience the wonder of the Great Wall at the Mutianyu section. A round-trip cable car ride is included. Standing on the wall and observing it stretch into the distance is an exhilarating experience that will create lasting memories. To celebrate this moment, enjoy a group toast with red wine on the Great Wall.
Nearby restaurants do not meet our standards, so lunch is not arranged today. We recommend having a hearty breakfast at the hotel and grabbing some fast food for lunch on your own. Our guide will suggest nearby restaurants.

Water Cube - Then, drive past the Olympic National Stadium, known as the Bird’s Nest, to admire its unique architecture and capture beautiful photos from a distance.

Niaochao National Stadium - The 2008 Olympic Games were held here.

Summer Palace, Hutong Rickshaw Tour

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Today’s itinerary begins with a visit to the Summer Palace, the largest existing imperial garden, featuring a stunning landscape and magnificent structures.

Hutong Tour - In the afternoon, conclude your memorable 8-day China tour in Beijing with a trip to the historic Hutongs. As you travel through the narrow lanes, you’ll experience the authentic Beijing lifestyle and culture near Qianmen Street.

Xi’an - Later, your guide will accompany you to Beijing West Railway Station for the bullet train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, your local Xi’an guide will meet you at the platform and transfer you to the downtown area to check in at the hotel for a two-night stay.

Terracotta Army, Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi’an Museum

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Begin your 8-day China tour in Xi’an with a visit to the magnificent Terracotta Army. The museum features three excavated pits showcasing incredible warrior figures and ancient Chinese weapons.

Muslim Quarter - In the afternoon, explore Xi’an’s Muslim Quarter, famous for its local street snacks and the Grand Mosque, which dates back 900 years.

Observe local life in the park, Xi’an City Wall by bullet train to Shanghai

Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - Start the day with a leisurely visit to the City Wall Park, where you can observe the daily life of locals. A special arrangement allows you to practice Tai Chi with a master. Tai Chi, a gentle form of Chinese martial arts, is considered a quintessential aspect of Chinese culture. Afterward, visit the City Wall, the most complete existing urban fortification in China. Cycling on the ancient wall is an exhilarating experience many enjoy (bike rental fee not included).

Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, the Bund, Nanjing Road, Jade Buddha Temple.

Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Explore Yu Garden and its nearby traditional bazaar. The garden’s symbol is the Nine Zigzag Bridge, constructed of granite and grass-white jade, along with the charming mid-lake pavilion.

The Bund (Wai Tan) - Stroll through the bustling Bund area and enjoy a one-hour cruise along the Huangpu River. Upon returning to the hotel, your guide will accompany you to the lobby to bid you farewell.
