During peak travel seasons, lines to enter the square can extend to 1–3 hours—time that is better spent exploring the imperial palace, ensuring you never miss your connecting flight.
  Your Forbidden City entry pass is pre-booked and ready. Upon arrival, simply scan your passport at the checkpoint to bypass the ticket lines and begin your adventure.
