Fragrant Hills Park, also known as Xiangshan Park, was originally built in 1186 during the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234) and later expanded during the Yuan and Ming dynasties. The park is renowned for its stunning natural scenery, particularly the red smoke tree leaves that cover the mountains.
• Beijing Botanical Garden - The second destination, located close to Fragrant Hills, features the Plant Exhibition Area, Scenic Spot and Historical Resorts, Scientific Research Area, and Nature Reserve. With 10,000 categories of plants and a population of 1.5 million plants, it is considered the largest botanical garden in northern China.
• Beijing - After a day of exploration, you might want to have lunch. Your driver can recommend restaurants, or if you prefer, they can take you back to your hotel.
