- The Great Wall at Badaling - The Great Wall stands as a remarkable symbol of ancient Chinese engineering. The Badaling section is a well-preserved example of this monumental structure. Since the Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC - 476 BC) and the Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC), Badaling has been a significant military strategic location. Many incomplete sections of the wall were confirmed to have been constructed during the Warring States Period. Visitors have the chance to ascend either the North or South Face of the Wall.
- Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - The Ming Tombs serve as the burial grounds for 13 of the 16 Ming emperors. Only three of these tombs are open to the public. Changling, the earliest and largest tomb, dates back to 1413. Visitors will explore the largest of the excavated burial sites, the Changling Tomb, which is divided into three distinct and impressive courtyards.
