Ming dynasty and great wall tour was perfect - Went on the great wall and ming dynasty tour and it was perfect. We were picked up on time at our hotel which was selected during booking. Miss wang was our driver and Lee was our tour guide, he was very informative making the journey to the wall seem shorter than it was. Would highly recommend booking this tour and using these guys, I will be looking to use them in the future if I return to beijing. Thank you for the great tour.

China's soldiers worked on Great Wall - The Great Wall of China can be seen at Badaling, where the Wall is a memorial that goes back many hundreds of years. Visitors can walk along the top of the Great Wall, which is made of rock and bricks. The Great Wall was designed to keep out foreign warriors. Chinese soldiers worked on the Great Wall, which runs from North to South. When visiting, outsiders can also see the Ming Tombs, which are associated with the Ming Empire. The Great Wall is popular with tourists who visit Beijing.

Great experience! - Great Wall is a must when traveling to Beijing! We did choose Badaling as we could match with the Ming Tombs and the visit to the Jade Shop. Our guide Jenny was just amazing! She did explain all required details for the visit, took us to the cable car and showed us the best path to follow to get the best views, and we were not disappointed! At the Ming Tombs we were a little bit down, as the back burial area was closed at the time of our visit, but anyway a nice visit. The Jade shop has amazing products, although a little on the upper side of anyone's budget. And the complimentary lunch at the store was also very nice. A very good day!

Book and early tour as site gets crowded quickly. Great experience! - The tour was great. It was fortunate that I chose an early start as the site filled up very quickly and I have no doubt we would have been waiting in line all day. Luckily I got to see the wall before the mass crowd. Lisa our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to maneuver through the crowds to make sure we had a great experience. We even had a bonus event for our small group where she introduced us to a tea house and jade museum. Overall a great experience.

Great location to view the wall - We chose this area to see the wall because it was less crowded and there were fewer tourist attractions. It was beautiful. The guide was very informative. We also went to see the tomb which was nice, but this is not a necessary thing to add. They took us to a large jade store that is connected to a large restaurant where we had lunch. I do not recommend buying from this store as the prices were high. The lunch was average. They took us to a nice tea shop for a demonstration and to purchase tea. The demonstration was good, and the tea was also good.

The trip to the wall and... - The trip to the wall and ming tombs itself was very good. Without it being written in the program, you also visit a jade factory and a tea ceremony. The places themselves are good and interesting, but they are pushing you to buy something overpriced there.

Nice day trip - Our guide, Michael was great and took good care of us, explained the history and answered all questions. We left early morning which allowed to avoid crouds. First you visit only one tomb (the main one), then go to the great wall. It's interesting but ultra touristic, you have to leave the car and take a shuttle bus to the wall. You can take a funicular up (extra 120 Yuan) or walk, I strongly recommend walking, it is steep but you can just go as far as you can/want, it looks similar everywhere. You have about 1.5 there which allows you to hike all the way north to the last available tower and back it you're reasonably fit. Then lunch, option for the local restaurant option (rather than wetsern bufet) for a more authentic experience. Then they take tou to a jade factory and tea house which are just tourist traps but you don't have to buy anything. I think they might get a cut if you do as things ar of course overpriced One star less only because I was somehow hoping for a less mass-tourism experience at the wall. Guide and overall organisation were great.

👍Great Wall 👎Ming Tomb - To experience the Great Wall of China is an unforgettable experience. The Ming Tomb we visit in this tour, is very short of being great. Last time I came to China (15 years ago) I visited one of the Tombs through the Sacred way, that was really worth and impressive! Unfortunately, this tour took the easy route and didn’t take us to the premium one. I was very disappointed!
