- Mutianyu Great Wall - In the morning, a professional English-speaking tour guide and driver with a private car will pick up the operator from the hotel lobby. The first destination is the Mutianyu Great Wall, which is a 1.5-hour drive away. This section of the Great Wall, located in the Beijing area, is less crowded and renowned for its stunning surroundings, including dense forests and lush pastures that change colors with the seasons. The wall stretches over 1000 meters to the peak of a mountain, then sharply turns and descends.
The operator will have approximately two hours to explore the Great Wall. It takes about 30 minutes to hike up on foot, or there is the option to take a cable car or chair lift. Tobogganing is also available.
