This section of the Great Wall, dating back to the Ming Dynasty, is one of the best-preserved and most renowned. Stretching 5,400 meters with 20 watchtowers, the Mutianyu Great Wall offers stunning scenery and is less crowded compared to the Badaling Great Wall. Upon arrival, you can choose to climb the wall, take a cable car up and down, or enjoy a chairlift ride up and a toboggan ride down for a fun experience. Tickets for the cable car and toboggan are not included, but your driver can assist in purchasing them. The driver will also guide you on how to explore the Great Wall and where to meet afterward. Once your visit is complete, the driver will return you to your chosen location.

Be first on the wall - Very smooth ride and we were among the first on the wall. We saw how the wall is with crowd later, so we definitely recommend to use this service and be there first thing in the morning.

Fantastic. Super Indico - The walk was excellent.
Highlight for the driver, which was sensational.
Service on schedule, comfortable car.
They adjusted the schedule so as not to catch tumult, indicated me all the paths.
We were courtesy taken to the tea house and tmb to eat a wonderful duck of petim.
Note ten out of ten.

I would do it again!!! - Having a stopover in Beijing of an almost full day I decided to visit the Chinese wall and I could not come across a better announcement/tour.
I book the activity for 12.30 and I am contacted by Linda who tells me that my driver would have waited for me at the arrivals at the airport already from 12 (very helpful) Fred our driver spoke a decent English and we understood each other very well.
Arrived at the wall we still had to make tickets not included, so gondola and / or toboggan, but to avoid standing in line and speed things up Fred tells us that Linda would make them for us and then we would safely pay the amount with Alipay. We stayed on the wall about 3h and once the sun went down we went back downtown with Fred who kindly dropped us off in front of the restaurant where we wanted to eat. Linda
is very helpful and had even suggested a restaurant where to eat duck. I highly recommend this experience and would do it again tomorrow! Thank you.

Private tour to the great wall - Very easy and comfortable. Even though the hotel was not on the list for pickup places, they picked us up without problems and on time.

This was a stopover tour... - This was a stopover tour we planned from PEK airport. Our time was very tight with a trip at 5:00 pm so we requested to be back at 3:00 pm and the private layover Mutianyu Great Walk tour was planned properly and accordingly to be on time. Our driver Devis was fluent in English and very good suggesting the best way to to walk thru the Great Wall sections open and where to get back to the tobbogan. Excellent experience!!!

Overall, I had a very... - Overall, I had a very enjoyable & memorable trip to The Great Wall (Mutiyanu). My driver Jason picked me up from my hotel lobby just before 7AM, so it was definitely quite an early start, but highly advisable to avoid the notorious Beijing traffic and larger crowds that can form later on in the day at The Great Wall.
Jason guided me right to the entrance / ticket turnstile, which I found very helpful. He also let me know where he would be waiting for me once I had come back down.
I decided to take the Chair Lift up and Toboggan down. The Toboggan turned out to be a really fun way to end the day. It reached a nice speed, but nothing too crazy or dangerous. The Great Wall itself was awe inspiring & incredibly impressive - a real bucket list moment.
The tour was very well organised and ran according to schedule. Linda (tour operator) was also very helpful from booking to the tour day itself, responding to all of my queries & questions promptly.

Once a lifetime experience - We knew about this amazing opportunity and make our layover in PEK just to be able to do the tour ! Sadly, first leg of our flights was delayed and this made the Great Wall of China tour a sprint - we drove, got up, walked about 50 meters , took ton of pictures and had to go back. Still this was absolutely amazing and I would totally do it again ( with at least 4-5 hrs there to walk and sit at a nervy cafe ). Our driver was amazing and the tour operator was available 24/7, connecting with us well in advance and even helping with pre-booking our cable car tickets ! All in all, I’m already thinking when to return🙏🏽❤️

Linda (The Organizer) was... - Linda (The Organizer) was great at providing the necessary information prior to my arrival! Upon arriving we met up with Davis( Our Driver), he was very friendly, easy to talk to and very timely. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and straightforward layover tour!!
