Mutianyu is a bit more rugged and slightly less crowded than the more famous Badaling. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered by trees and orchards, keeping the air fragrant with chestnut blossoms in the spring and fresh all year long.

Fully recommended. It is certainly worth seeking a private guide to make this excursion of the wall. China gets you tickets at the slide and cable car entrances.

The Great Wall without crowds! - My driver Jack was very kind and he helped us purchasing tickests. He told where to go once on top and the ride was smooth and secure. We left the hotel at 6:00 AM and when we arrived the Great Wall was stull empty! No crowds, just peace. So if you want to visit the Great Wall without the caos this service is the best!!

Il mio autista Jack è stato molto gentile e ci ha aiutato ad acquistare i biglietti. Ci ha indicato dove andare una volta in cima e il viaggio è stato tranquillo e sicuro. Abbiamo lasciato l'hotel alle 6:00 e quando siamo arrivati la Grande Muraglia era ancora deserta! Niente folla, solo pace. Quindi se volete visitare la Grande Muraglia senza il caos, questo servizio è il migliore!!

Experience that I would repeat! - Having a stopover in Beijing, I contacted this tour operator via email to arrange a visit to the Great Wall.
They responded promptly, with impeccable English, giving me all the details and providing me with several options.
We had about 5 hours, we knew we could not stay long to walk on the Wall, but it was still an experience that I would repeat!
Our driver, Mr Ping, spoke fluent English and told us several local curiosities. With him we skipped all the lines, managing to stay on schedule.

Fantastic experience - Brilliant experience - we were picked up straight from our hotel and taken to the Wall. Got a great historical overview of Beijing and the walls. The wall itself was fantastic to see. Great bodily workout to walk on it. Our guide was personable and we enjoyed going to a Chinese restaurant afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Private great wall tour - I travelled to Great wall. Such a great place. It was my dream come true. I booked a private tour. The operator send me Mr. Guo as driver and guide. Helpful and polite. I really enjoyed the trip.
