Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - The tour guide will meet the group in the hotel lobby at 08:30 a.m. From there, the group will be transported to Tian’anmen Square to begin the highlight day tour.
Tiananmen Square, the largest central city square globally, is a symbol of both the city and China. This vast courtyard is encircled by notable structures such as the Tiananmen Tower, Great Hall of the People, Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao, Monument to the People’s Heroes, and the National Museum. It is an essential visit in Beijing City. -
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The grand Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex worldwide. It boasts 9,999 rooms during its peak, just one room shy of the number symbolizing ‘Divine Perfection’ in ancient Chinese belief, and is surrounded by a six-meter deep moat and a ten-meter high wall. For five centuries, this palace served as the country’s administrative center. Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the city’s most visited attractions.
The tour guide will lead the group through several palaces, including the opulent Antiquarian of the Palace Museum (Treasures Museum). The guide’s engaging commentary will provide insights into the ancient history, culture, and traditions that shaped the Forbidden City. -
Lao Beijing Zhajiangmian - Zhajiang mian, a staple of traditional Beijing cuisine, is often simply called Beijing noodles.
It consists of three main ingredients: wide hand-pulled noodles, vegetable pieces, and pork. The vegetables vary with the seasons, but there are always at least seven types. It is an ideal lunchtime snack for visitors with limited time, as it is typically ready within seconds of ordering. -
Prince Kung’s (Gong) Mansion - Prince Gong’s Mansion is the best-preserved mansion in China, comprising both the mansion and the park.
The main layout of Prince Gong’s Mansion includes three sections: middle buildings, east, and west buildings. These sections are aligned along the central axis and consist of traditional courtyards. The mansions are constructed with the highest level of building standards of that era. Additionally, each of the three main buildings contains three courtyards, each a popular tourist spot.
The tour will include a walk along Silver Ingot Bridge, Houhai Lake, Yandaixiejie Hutong, and Nanluoguxiang Hutong, where participants can taste snacks and experience the local lifestyle. - Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Houhai, meaning “Back Sea,” is a large artificial lake in northern downtown Beijing. Along with Qianhai (Front Sea) and Xihai (West Sea), it forms Shichahai. It was reserved for the royal family during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), and the surrounding area has been a bustling commercial hub since then. Historically, it housed many wine shops, workshops, and opera stages. Today, it is open to everyone. Visitors can enjoy boating on the lake in summer and skiing on the frozen lake in winter. The area is filled with bars, cafes, tea houses, and restaurants, making it popular among foreign visitors and local youth. Additionally, the nearby Hutongs and courtyards of former court officials and celebrities are worth exploring.

Yandai Xie Street - Known as Yandai Xiejie in Chinese, Yandaixie Street is one of Beijing’s oldest hutongs. Situated in the Xicheng District, it is near the famous Shichahai attractions in Beijing.
Historically, Yandaixiejie Street has been one of Beijing’s most vibrant commercial areas. The street is lined with closely packed stores offering a wide range of souvenirs with Beijing characteristics. - Nanluoguxiang - Nanluoguxiang Hutong is renowned for its authentic Beijing atmosphere. It features age-old siheyuans, archways, wall carvings, and former residences of socialites. Today, Nanluoguxiang Hutong showcases a unique blend of East and West, with new pubs and restaurants giving it a modern urban feel.
After the tour, enjoy a comfortable transfer back to the hotel, wrap up the memories, and bid farewell at the hotel.
