Mutianyu Great Wall - An English-speaking driver will pick up guests from their hotel at a time of their choosing. The journey to the Great Wall at Mutianyu from downtown Beijing takes approximately 1.5 hours. Located northeast of the city, this section of the Wall is one of the most popular attractions. Although it is slightly further away, it attracts fewer tourists.
Visitors can take a cable car up to the Wall, and this is the only section that offers a toboggan ride down. The toboggan ride promises plenty of fun.
Upon arrival, the driver can assist with purchasing tickets. After spending a few hours hiking and capturing photos, guests will return to their hotel around 4:00 pm.
If interested in visiting other sections, a customized itinerary can be arranged.
The start time is flexible. During holidays or weekends, it is advisable to start earlier to avoid crowds. Please indicate when booking if an early start is preferred.

This exclusive Great Wall tour with an English-speaking driver ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience. The driver provides company and conversation throughout the journey. Upon reaching the Great Wall, the driver assists with purchasing tickets, explains the climbing process, and designates a meeting point. Entrance tickets and the shuttle bus ride from the parking area to the entrance are included. However, cable car and toboggan tickets are not included.
- Car seat is available on request if advised at time of booking
- If you wish to be picked up and drop-off from Beijing International Airport, please fill out your flight information in special requirement upon booking
- For a layover tour, if you are not able to go through customs for any reasons, please take your own responsibility. There is no refund for the same day cancellation.

Amazing trip - thank you, a bucket list ticked - Peter was great. Picked me up from hotel, he bought ticket and explained everything, taking me up to the ticket gate. He was very chatty on the drive, which was very welcome. He waited for me with the car, explained where to meet afterwards. All round great experience, thanks very much for making a dream visit come true.

A must do from the Bucket List/ - Fantastic, Wonderfull a must do thing from your Bucket list. The wall is amazing I was lost for words. The Great Wall and China was fantastic holiday destination.

Great Experience! - Ken was so great!! He picked us up from our hotel early in the morning and helped us buy our tickets for the chair lift and tobaggen. He even took some amazing photos for us (he knew all the best spots)! It was such a smooth and fun trip to the Great Wall.

Private trip to the Great Wall - My husband and I were very excited to visit the Great Wall, and booking a private trip was really the most convenient and safe way to get there and back. Our guide Alvin took very good care of us and met us right on time in the lobby of our hotel, delivered us to the entry of the Wall, saved us with a coffee at the cafe near the base of the Wall (much needed so early in the morning), coordinated the chairlift and toboggan tickets, met us when we finished, showed us where to get lunch, and delivered us back to our hotel at the end of the day's adventure.

Booking is... - Booking is straightforward and the operator is very quick to respond to our enquiry. We received a confirmation message vua Whatsapp a day or two before thr trip.
Alvin was our driver and he was super friendly, courtesy and punctual. The car was clean and well presented and he made the entire trip so much more enjoyable

*Would recommend more info about Great Wall from the driver through the journey
*Please take snacks and drinks with you before going top (no hints from the drive)
