Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - Start by walking on the impressive Xi’an Ancient City Wall, the best-preserved city wall in China. Cycling around it, which takes about 30 minutes, is also a popular activity among visitors.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Next, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoy quality time at Da En’ci Temple, where the pagoda is located.
Muslim Quarter - Explore the Xi’an Great Mosque, the largest mosque in the local Muslim community, renowned as a religious and architectural heritage site. Nearby, you will find the Xi’an Drum and Bell Tower, which served as functional buildings in the past and are city landmarks today. From the Drum Tower, you can walk to the Muslim Quarter, a vibrant museum of Muslim customs brought along the ancient Silk Road.
Around 6:00 PM, you will be transported to your hotel.
Xi’an
Xi’an Banpo Museum - Hotel pickup, then proceed to the Banpo Neolithic Village Museum. This archaeological site showcases a large collection of artifacts and relics from the Neolithic settlement.
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Next, visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the most significant excavation of the 20th century. The vast underground pits contain life-size terracotta figures of soldiers from the Qin Dynasty. It attracts numerous visitors from around the world as it displays the kingdom’s authority and funeral arts. At the Terra-Cotta Replication Factory, the entire process of making miniature terracotta soldier figures is demonstrated. Finished products are available for purchase as souvenirs.

Mount Huashan
Mount Huashan - Hotel pickup by your driver and transfer to the railway station, board train G2002 (08:07-08:37).

The trail up Mount Huashan is famous for its narrow plank roads near the cliff edge, offering a challenging yet thrilling experience. Lush forests, crystal-clear water and springs, and a perpetual sea of clouds provide rewarding views at the peak, making the effort to overcome any fears worthwhile.
It is recommended to take the cable car to North Peak, then walk along the edges to South Peak. Spend 4 hours walking on the summit. Take the cable car down the mountain from North Peak in the afternoon.
You will need to take a taxi on your own to Huashan North Railway Station. Then take train G670 (18:35-23:29) back to Beijing.
