Very authentic tour! - We had a great experience with our tour guide Ricky! He gave as a wide overview of the Northern Ireland conflict and showed us all the important places. As a historian and someone who grew up in Belfast he experienced a lot of it first hand and really knew what he was talking about. We really enjoyed our tour and our time with Ricky who made sure we got a good understanding of the conflict.

The Perfect Belfast Black Cab Tour - Ricky was everything we hoped for in a tour guide and more. As an individual who grew up in the troubles, Ricky was the perfect person to relay the complex history of Belfast and Northern Ireland. We couldn't have been more pleased to have been educated by Ricky as he is a learned scholar as well as an experieced artist. My traveling partner and I suggest that you request him by name. Go raibh maith agat, Ricky.

Amazing History of the Troubles - Jim was an Amazing guide, so very knowledgeable and very eager to tell the story of the Troubles! There were many stops with photo ops but mainly Jim was relaying the stories of the area and the underlying history behind the 30 years of violence. Jim grew up during the this period so it was real for him. Polly, Jim’s trusted companion was a long for the ride but you hardly knew she was there. Unlike many other tours we saw leaving that morning, our’s was in a real Black Taxi which added to our tour. This was the highlight of our stay in Belfast, everyone needs to take this tour to better understand the history. Thanks Jim for the wonderful two hours we spent with you.

Excellent tour. Very knowledgeable driver. Refreshed our memories of our forgotten history of the Troubles. - Our driver Rick collected us at our hotel. His taxi was big and comfortable with plenty of window space. During our 2 hours Rick was an endless source of information. He is an historian with an amazing knowledge of Irish history. He answered all questions thrown at him and answered in detail. We would highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in the troubles and previous Irish history. Many thanks Rick we enjoyed every minute Maureen Kate and Mary Carlow

Must do tour - Rick was an amazing tour guide. He lived through the troubles and provided great first hand information and insight. He was able to give us great background on Irish history that flowed great into the modern history. His ability to explain the current climate was very interesting and eye opening to a couple from America with hardly any prior knowledge. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting.
