An Insightful and Personal Look at Belfast's History - My wife and I took a tour while visiting Belfast and really enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Cecil, was incredibly informative, friendly, and had a great sense of humor that made the heavy topic much more approachable. The tour itself was well-priced and Cecil offered a personal and unbiased look at The Troubles, which is exactly what we were looking for. It was great being able to check out the various murals, memorials, and sites around the city, and we even got to sign a peace wall (thanks for the pics, Cecil!). In the end, we walked away feeling like we had a much deeper and more human understanding of Belfast's history. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!

Amazing experience as we learned more about the Troubles in Belfast - Gained a much stronger understanding of the history and impacts of the troubles thanks to our amazing guide Cecil. He showed us around with all the insights that only a local can have, helped to share all the history and complicated dynamics that have been such a part of Belfast's history. He gave the tour with empathy and humor, and we came away much more aware of what the past - and current life - in these Belfast neighborhoods is like.

Very informative. ... - Very informative. Definitely worth it! Our driver gave us just enough information, let us out for pictures when it made sense and loaned us markers to sign the peace wall. Overall great experience!

Amazing information - Robert was amazing. He explaining the history of the troubles in detail. He took us to both sides of the fence. We saw the gates, the orals and the fences.

Great! - This tour amazed me. I was obviously uninformed of the history of Ireland. Mark was a great tour guide and had grown up in Belfast. It was 100% authentic. We had heard sometime these tours can be slanted towards the Catholic or Protestant. Mark was very neutral. Highly recommend if u like history.

SOUL OF BELFAST!!! - Straight up the best depiction I have ever experienced about both sides of the Troubles. So much history delivered with so much heart. In the US, we hear so much from the Republican side of the wall. I was amazed when we came to the other side. Mark was amerzing!!! AND BELFAST IS BEAUTIFUL!!! (tags and all)

A Profound and Unforgettable Experience with Big Mark - This was hands down the most impactful tour I’ve taken in all my travels. Big Mark guided us through West Belfast with such depth, honesty, and humanity. His storytelling helped us truly understand the conflict — not just the history, but the lived experience, the ongoing challenges, and the struggle for resolution. We were moved several times throughout the tour, and found ourselves reflecting and talking about it for days after. Mark was absolutely incredible — knowledgeable, compassionate, and deeply respectful of the stories and spaces we were stepping into. This is not just a tour, it’s something that stays with you long after you leave Belfast. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
