Belfast hop on hop off - Great experience. It saved us quite a bit in cab fare. I was surprised to hear the tour guide was onboard.

Good quick option to see the city - Good tour but it is quite short. If you stay on the bus, you complete the circuit in about 90 minutes. We did the 2 day tour and hit the jackpot on the first day because the driver stopped at Peace Wall and gave us a chance to sign it!

The guides personalize the experience! - A must do to learn the complex history of Belfast. We had Emma as our first guide and she was fantastic. Having been born in Belfast at the start of the most recent period of conflict, she brings in the perspective of someone who was a child during the conflict. Dylan was also a friendly and fantastic driver maneuvering through Belfast traffic! Later we had Brian as our guide and with his numerous years as a tour guide here (we had him when we visited in 2017!), he brings yet another perspective to the tour! Every guide brings a little something different! Stop #1 is right alongside Belfast City Hall. Very easy to find! Make sure you go in City Hall after your Hop On Hop Off to explore the exhibits inside!

City tour (good tour) but long wait for bus was a very big let down after all the buses from the other company appeared - Tour was good, the downside was we went to Crumlin Road Gaol (walked there) thought we would get City Tours bus back as was raining, 3 sightseeing buses came by before ours turned up & was about 45 min wait!

Very informative - This is a great way of seeing the main sights of the city. Both buses we used had live commentary from knowledgeable and friendly guides. Bear in mind that tickets can be used on these buses, and on the CitySightseeing buses. They ran about every half hour in February when we went. We learnt lots and it’s a good way of seeing various sights. The only slight niggle is that it would have been useful to know when the next bus was due at each stop (perhaps they could have something online) so we could plan rather than wait at the different stops. I’d definitely recommend this activity.

Not really “hop on” - I was let down with the “hop on” aspect as after waiting 15 minutes at St George’s Market the bus came along and just drove right past the stop without picking me up. I ended up walking to the first stop to board as I had already paid for my ticket and didn’t want to have just lost the money. It must depend on your driver whether they will stop to let you on or not as when I was on the tour they stopped to let a lady on at that stop no problem? The tour with Noel was great though

Very disappointed - The buses were crowded with people standing in the aisles which made it difficult to see the sites or take photos. We ended up getting off earlier than we'd liked in hopes that the next bus would be better. It wasn't. Having taken the HopOn/HopOff buses in Dublin on 3 occasions, we were surprised at how different the experience was in Belfast.
