Let tourism be the guide for the city to heal - A history tour like no other, powerful and informative. Big shout out to our host Nigel, we learnt a lot from him. Very interesting to hear both sides of the fence and how the city is trying to move on in a positive manner.

A must do trip! - We had Edward (Ed) who was hugely knowledgeable, great sense of humour, and cares about what he was talking about. We found the whole thing unbelievably interesting and moving. Don’t ever forget the past, but don’t let it dictate your future. A must do when visiting Belfast!

A morning well spent! - Had a brilliant tour this morning with Edward. He was extremely knowledgeable and balanced with his information and provided a fantastic overview into the history of Belfast and Northern Ireland during the troubles. Such a friendly man and made the tour extremely enjoyable. Picked up and dropped off at the same ideal location and the tour lasted about 1.5hrs (including time spent taking photos). Would highly recommend anyone visiting Belfast to take the time to go on this tour.

Very knowledgeable about his subject and answered all of our questions after patiently listening to our requirements. Highly recommended. Thanks Jim.

A moving Black cab tour with Liam - Before taking this tour, my knowledge of the Troubles in Northern Ireland was limited, primarily shaped by the IRA bombings I saw on television during the 80s. However, this experience completely changed my understanding of the deep and lasting impact the conflict had on the region, leaving behind a divided community.
Liam, our driver, was a wonderful guide, full of Northern Irish warmth and charm. His personal connection to the events—his family having been directly affected—made his insights even more poignant and heartbreaking.
The tour took us along both sides of the Peace Wall, where we had the chance to write a few words in support of lasting peace. It was a deeply moving experience to witness firsthand the scars of such a troubled past, but also incredibly valuable for gaining a more nuanced understanding of the conflict and its enduring legacy. I would highly recommend it for anyone seeking to truly grasp the complexities of Northern Ireland’s history.

Insight into past troubled times - Big shout out to Nigel....
Excellent tour guide. I had some knowledge of the troubles having Irish parents but i still had questions i wanted to have answers too and most importantly visiting the places both sides of the peace walls was a must for me.
Nigel accommodated all that with his knowledge and personal memories of troubled times.
A memory to remember and he went well over the tour allocated time to explain all we asked both myself and my wife.
Great tour
Great Guide
If you have an interest in the troubles this is a must i rate it highly and you do get to walk around also at times which is a bonus.
