Wonderful day out - We had a brilliant time on this tour and we would thoroughly recommend it. The whole day ran like clockwork and our driver kept us entertained with some great stories and jokes. We saw beautiful little villages and stunning coastal views. Something for everyone!

Day trip to giants causeway - Comfortable bus, you’re on there for a while. Marty our driver was a great host, with lots of information and laughter.

The tour was good and we... - The tour was good and we got to see a lot. We and quite a few others couldn't hear the tour guide at all on the coach. We all mentioned it but it kept not working and the sound was awful. Maybe invest in updating it? Didn't need 30 minutes at the distillery as not much to do and we felt rushed having our lunch.

I was nervous at first,... - I was nervous at first, because there seemed to be very poor communication and organization with Allen's. However, once we got going, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Some more time at a couple of places would have been nice, or at least a stop at some of the castles and ruins that were just "drive bys". However, the scenic drive and rock formations were incredible.

Diversified, beautiful landscapes, complete - Very nice day and we were lucky that the rain stopped for the walk to Giants Causeway. Good lunch. We've seen most of what's there. The time in each rental is very limited so if you like to enjoy the scenery this is not the right excursion. The only downside was the very sporty driving of the driver, who made you sick at times being at the back of the bus

Beautiful but so disorganized - Was expecting a coach not a minibus. Wasn’t on time. Arrived 20 mins late then lots of pickups. Some that driver was unaware of. We missed out on the Whiskey Distillery and the final castle. Coach wasn't up to standard. We loved everything we did see however a once in a lifetime trip was marred by lack of organisation. Not happy with the operator. Would definetly go again but not with this operator

Trip was good but - The trip was generally okay and covered all the spots mentioned in the itinerary. However, I did notice that one spot was missed, which was a bit disappointing.

Rude drive and false advertisement - The day started really well, the Driver/guide Lindsay was very nice and had great stories to tell. Then he got really mad and started yelling and telling people to shut up (some of them were actually whispering to translate what he was saying). He was seriously overreacting and being very very rude and unprofessional. He stop commenting so we had 0 information and had to ask other tours for some information on the location. The stop at the « wall » was actually a very nice bonus. The stop at the rope bridge is FALSE advertisement. You are so far away you cannot see anything. You do not go on it. See photo The stop for lunch is not great. For some reason they did not drop us are the pick up location but dropped us of at city hall. We felt rushed at every stop. The other companies seemed better and had friendly drivers.

Dangerous driving and a company that don’t care - Tour was bad on so many levels - mostly related to the driver. On a hot day he kept his window open so that he had a nice breeze. Unfortunately (as noted in a sticker next to his head) this meant the air conditioning didn’t work meaning the rest of us were hot and uncomfortable. His driving itself was dangerous with three specific examples which we could see clearly since we were in the front seats. 1) he blatantly drove straight through a red light; 2) he made a phone call (not hands-free) whilst negotiating narrow country roads at some speed; 3) he overtook a lorry (on a slightly wider road) when there was clearly not room to do so, nearly going straight into an oncoming car. A major collision was only averted by the car and lorry braking sharply - the lorry driver making it clear what he thought with a loud blast of his horn. I emailed Allen’s tours about this - and a couple of other issues - but they haven’t responded. Giant’s Causeway is worth the trip - but avoid going with this company.
