Kildare Village Shopping - Excellent service in a luxurious new Coach traveling to Kildare Village. Driver was a gentleman. loved the ambience on coach listening to Christmas tunes and the blue lighting.

Great trip from start to finish! - It was great from start to finish. I was a bit worried about the pick up because of the road works but their communication was very good - got call the day before to say meet at Europa and a McComb's rep would be there to direct me where to get the bus. Worked out smoothly. The coach was comfy and was happy to be able to charge my phone all the way down and back. Straight down from 0820 and arrived around 11am. Got the discount card, which was great. Kildare Village was busy-ish but got very busy around 2pm. Got back on the bus at 5pm and in Belfast around 7.45pm. Great trip altogether! Highly recommend!

Starts your Christmas!! - We go to Kildare at this time every year and it really starts off your Christmas! It is absolutely beautiful and the Christmas lights are up from the beginning of November. There are lots of bargains to be had but just check online as we noticed that a coat we were going to purchase at 130 euros was only £99 in Next! Really lovely experience and atmosphere and great places to eat - A must visit!

Great variety of shops and great prices. Go with McCombs! - We travelled to Kildare Village with McCombs Coaches. This company is excellent, offering good value, great timings, convenient pick up times and total comfort in luxury coaches. The range of outlets is fabulous! Prices are very keen and we also benefited from additional Black Friday savings. I would highly recommend this trip and it’s great for Christmas shopping!

Amazing coach driver - We had the world’s best bus driver PAUL. What a lovely kind and cheerful man. A joy to be on a long journey with I wasn’t really that taken with the Kildare village it was just ok. I wouldn’t go again. Def would use mc combs agsin. Beautiful clean buses

Money is their GOD - certainly not customer service! - What an appalling experience with this 'less-than-understanding' company! Was part of a group scheduled to travel on 07/12/2024 on one of the McCombs Kildare Shopping Village trips - yes, that's right, during 'Storm Darragh.' Set off by train from Coleraine Train Station at 06.30am to make the pick up by the McCombs bus, at Europa Hotel Belfast at 8.20pm. Of course there was the storm, and between Ballymoney and Ballymena, the storm had 'felled' trees (an act of God - clearly 'out-of-the-hands-of-man') which blocked the railway line/train meaning a return to Coleraine was the only option. McCombs travel were contacted by telephone and e-mail to ensure that the driver didn't wait unnecessarily for my party, who because of the travel chaos, were not going to be able to make the scheduled pick-up - that was demonstrably, both a courteous and thoughtful action on behalf of my group - would that such courtesy might be reciprocated by McCombs, ......not a chance! My group sought on Monday 09/12/2024, to request that McCombs might provide a credit, either full or partial, for use on one of their tours next Christmas 2025, not what one would expect was an unreasonable request given the particular and unexpected circumstances, and the weather on the day of the trip - of course the groups expectation would be that McCombs might just have applied some 'common-sense' -- not a chance, their response was ...'It is not possible to credit these tickets - As we were not informed they would not be travelling, we were unable to resell their seats. If they wish to travel, it will require new tickets. Currently, there are no scheduled dates for Kildare in 2025. It usual runs from March, on the last Saturday of the month. Once we are closer to Christmas again, it is will run more frequently. The last date of this year is this Saturday 14th December - which has limited availability, if they wish to rebook.' -- now quite how my party could have done anything more than what they did to notify McCombs of their non-travel and the circumstances prevailing at that time, I don't know, but what should be pointed out is that at no point on the McCombs website page relevant to the Kildare Shopping Village trip - https://www.mccombscoaches.com//tours/kildare-village-shopping-tour - is there any disclaimer regarding non-refundable/non-changeable conditions, so either a full/partial or a transferrable credit note arrangement, would be been an expectation, and was not in our view an unreasonable request! Our advice on this Company -- FIND A DIFFERENT PROVIDER, THERE IS LITTLE IF ANY CUSTOMER CARE PROVIDED BY McCOMBS, AND EVEN LESS COMMON BUSINESS SENSE! :-)
