Good but long one - Tour went smooth as planned. Usual as promised not less not more. I want to thank Jovan as our guide. They have a hard job so they deserve respect. Tour is a long one so know that before, back home is 3-3.5 hours with one stop. Lunch break is good for trying local food. You can eat as much as you can, tasty food. Grandmother,i think owner of the buffet was a bit grumpy when i asked for a clean plate to eat my 2nd plate but it is ok:) I want to share a little feedback:1) Tour may bring waters for guests. 2)Tour should have umbrellas in case of rain.

A good day out to learn about Serbia's long history and culture, a must do. - We very much enjoyed this tour, our driver and guide, Marko, did a great job giving some of the history of the areas we drove through on the way. The van was comfortable even with 6 guests and a driver. Golubac Fortress is quite amazing and being able to look over into Romania and understand all that has gone on over centuries here was fascinating. The Fortress is well presented and even in only the "green zone" it was worth the visit, great for photo ops. The lunch stop was also interesting inside an artists property with all his art work in the fields and the restaurant. The food is all local and plenty to eat. The cheeses were excellent and first time to eat deep fried nettles, so some thing new. Last stop was the Lepenski vir archaeological dig. A lovely walk through a wooded path from the car park with botanical identification of many trees and then into the museum itself with the original settlement from 7000 years ago replicated inside. Very much worth the visit. There is a lot of driving on this tour but the journey passes quickly with the informative insights from our guide.

Interesting tour but long time in the bus - A good day out. The driver and guide were good, polite and knowledgeable. The highlight was Golubac fortress. A little too pristine, almost Disney’esc but nevertheless a very interesting visit with great views. The river trip to the Iron Gate was a bit basic, but nice enough. The only other observation is the time in the bus. It’s a full 12 hour tour and you spend less that 4 hours at the sites. I think the description should be clearer on that point but if you’re up for a long day in a bus it’s a good trip.
