The tour commences at the National Parliament, a grand structure erected in the early 20th century, which stands as a testament to Serbia’s tumultuous history.
Opposite are the Old and New palaces, once the seats of the royal Obrenovic and Karadjordjevic dynasties, now serving as the residence of the President and the City Parliament. You will be intrigued and amazed by the mysteries surrounding these royal families.
- Trg Nikole Pašića - At this stop, you will “meet” one of the key figures in the history of modern Serbia, Nikola Pasic, who played a pivotal role in the creation of the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovenians.
- Terazije Fountain - The journey continues to Terazije Square – a central gathering place in Belgrade since the late 19th century.
Here, you will learn how Hotel Moskva hosted renowned scientists, artists, state officials, and even two camels accompanying a distinguished guest from Africa.
- Trg Republike - Next, we reach the heart of the city, Republic Square, encircled by the National Theatre and National Museum, and featuring the Prince Mihailo monument at its center.
- Knez Mihailova - The main pedestrian street and shopping area.
- St. Michael’s Cathedral - Strolling through the ever-bustling Knez Mihailo Street, we arrive at Belgrade’s principal church, where the tombs of some of Serbia’s most significant historical figures are located.
Opposite the church is the city’s oldest bar, known for its peculiar name “Question Mark -?”, as well as the Mansion of Princess Ljubica, the former residence of Serbia’s first lady.
- Kalemegdan Park and Belgrade Fortress - The tour concludes at the Belgrade fortress, the city’s most vital cultural-historic site.
The towering walls of the fortress proudly overlook the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, bearing witness to the history of this ancient city, as well as the great love stories of today.

Strolling along the ever-bustling Knez Mihailo Street, from Republic Square to Belgrade’s main church, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the city’s oldest tavern, famously named “Question Mark -?”.
The tour concludes at the Belgrade Fortress, the city’s most significant cultural-historic site, with its towering walls majestically overlooking the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. Here, you can also admire the Victor monument, a symbol of the city.
