- Danube River - Discover the magnificent Danube River, a true natural wonder. Flowing through ten countries, including ours, this is Europe’s second-longest river and has been a crucial link between nations for centuries. Once the boundary of the powerful Roman Empire, the Danube continues to serve as a vital route connecting the far reaches of the Old Continent. Often referred to as the “old giant,” this river has been the cradle of numerous civilizations and cultures, with historical landmarks along Serbia’s banks highlighting its rich legacy.
- Golubac Fortress - Journey along the majestic Danube to your first destination, the Golubac Fortress. Situated on towering cliffs at the river’s widest point, this medieval fortress captivates visitors with its enchanting towers and fairytale-like ambiance. Ascend to one of the fortress’s viewpoints, and you’ll see why locals say the Danube looks like the sea from this perspective. Experience breathtaking panoramic views from one of Serbia’s most well-preserved fortifications.
- Kapetan Misin Breg - Delight in the tranquil beauty of Kapetan Mišin Breg, an eco-ethno complex offering stunning views of the Đerdap Gorge. Named after a respected captain, the site features an open-air gallery, “Man, Wood, Water,” displaying an impressive array of wooden and stone sculptures.
- Djerdap National Park - After a leisurely lunch, embark on a journey through the Iron Gate Gorge, the narrowest and deepest part of the Danube. Admire the impressive rock carving of Dacian King Decebal and catch a glimpse of the Mraconia Monastery on the Romanian side. Conclude your cruise with a visit to Tabula Traiana, a Roman plaque celebrating Emperor Trajan’s remarkable engineering achievement of building a road through the gorge’s most challenging terrain.

Superb trip - It was a great trip to learn and visit Eastern Serbia along Danube river. The instruction for the trip and time was very clear the day before and, the guide, Isidore, was superb in English, history/culture about where we visited. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions. We have 14 people in our group and she accommodated everyone well. The driver, Alex, was a great driver and an intuitive for people’s needs: ex, temp and light in the car, etc. I would highly recommend this trip if you want to see some country side of Serbia as well as the area along Danube river. Very informative as well! I did another tour with this company and was very satisfied with both trips.

We had a great time on... - We had a great time on this private day tour. Our guide, Dragana was friendly and very knowledgeable, full of stories that made the history come to life. Car ride was long but had some scenic stretches, and it was refreshing to get out of the city for a day. We climbed to the top of Golubac Fortress (admission extra) and got some beautiful views of the Danube. Thank you!

Give yourself at least 3 or four days to really discover the charm of Belgrade - Old city charm, especially in the Kneza Mihaila pedestrian area of the old city. Beautiful architecture, too many bookshops to name, and great restaurants - with some of the best hot chocolate you will ever taste. Lots of lovely museums too.

Maybe more splendid than Egypt - Lipenski vir was the highlight in the tour. Amazing that the civilization existed B.C. 9500 through B.C. 5000 there. Much older than Egypt. In addition the people there were so intelligent and spiritual.
