Two Amazing Tours, One Brilliant Guide – A Must-Do in Belgrade - I joined both the “20th Century Walking Tour” in the morning and the “Underground Secrets of Belgrade” tour later that afternoon — both led by Milan, and both absolutely fantastic. Milan is the kind of guide you hope for on a walking tour: incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about his city, and a great storyteller. He explained complex parts of Serbian and Belgrade history in a clear, engaging way, mixing facts with context and just the right amount of humor. The 20th Century tour gave a powerful overview of modern Serbian history — from the Kingdom of Yugoslavia through the world wars and into the turbulent 1990s — while the Underground tour was the perfect follow-up, taking us through layers of Belgrade’s much older past, hidden beneath the streets. If you’re curious about Belgrade’s rich and layered history, Milan and his tours are the perfect combination. I left with a much deeper understanding and appreciation for the city and its people. Highly recommended.

Fascinating and takes you to places mostly inaccessible to tourists - The trip was great, had a very knowledgeable guide who explained everything to us. He was more than willing to answer any question at length and seemed to enjoy what he was doing.

Stunning afternoon stroll - Fabulous tour and guide, Mila showed us into areas closed for the season, we had the chance to take some amazing people free photos. Lots of steps but worth it to visit all the best spots and an enjoyable review of the afternoon over some carafes of wine. Perfect!

Great Mix of Fun & History - This was the second tour we attended with Belgrade Walking Tours in the same day, and honestly, it was an overall great experience. Both tours were led by Milan so it was nice to also have the same guide because of how informative he was on the firs tour. It was easy to spot Milan when we first approached the meeting spot and once everyone was gathered we started. The day before my dad and I wandered the Belgrade Fortress on our own while reading a few signs. This provided a fuller experience with more historical context to everything that we saw. I personally chose this one because it mentioned Roman ruins were involved. Prior to wine, the tour takes a moment underground with individual pieces of Roman ruins surrounding us including a piece from what was the second largest temple dedicated to Hecate. It was incredible being up so close and personal with the layered history of the fortress. While I wanted to attend the tour for the Roman ruins, my favorite part was honestly exploring Josip Broz Tito's bunker. Climbing the stairs into the bunker was not too challenging but provided an extra level of excitement as we explored the bunker while learning more about the history.

Nice tour - Milan had niet stores at the underground sightseeings. But walking to the sightseeings it had been good if Milan also told something about the enviromnent during the walk.

Not for older people! Very difficult. - We are in our late 70s. There was nothing describing the tour as difficult. There were very steep narrow stairs with no handrails and very uneven ground. There was no audio for the group so most of the time we could not hear him. He was a great guide and nothing was his fault. I think he did his best and felt sorry for us. I think there should be something listed on the website with a warning for older people.
