Great private tour and lunch with Jose to the Maya Ruins and around Belize City. - Great private tour with only 2 couples. Very timely in picking us up from the cruise terminal. Very knowledgeable about the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins. Icing on the cake was a great lunch of chicken, rice and beans.

Belize City and Altun Ha Maya Ruin - We had a private tour with Jose today. He picked us up at the pier. Went to the Altun Ha ruin He explained it all to us. Then we drove around the city. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Best tour guide ever!!! - We had an amazing experience. Our tour, guide, Jeffrey was knowledgeable about the culture and history of Belize. He made it fun! This particular tour was 4-5 hours which included the ruins, lunch, and the city. It was not too exhausting like the all day tours. It was perfect for us. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Great Tour - Great tour we got to see and learn about the history of Altun Ha Temple and we got some authentic Belizean Food it was delicious!!! Also got to try the Belkin beer! Jose took good care of us!

Ruins near to Belize City - We had an extra day in Belize City before joining our group. A half day visit to the ruins & a tour of the city was just right!

A must for those interested in the history of Belize and the Mayan people. We loved it! - Our private tour (two couples) was originally scheduled for Tuesday. Due to circumstances beyond his control, the owner Jose needed to change our tour to Wednesday. It was handled very well, and we were glad to adjust our tour. On Wednesday, Jose picked us up at the ferry dock at 8:30. He started the excursion with a tour of Belize City and some of the history of Belize. We arrived at Altun Ha early enough that we beat the cruise buses and had the historic site pretty much to ourselves. Jose's knowledge of the Mayan site was deep. We had enough time at the site to be very satisfied. As we were leaving, six cruise buses arrived, so the timing was perfect! After leaving Altun Ha, we were taken to a wonderful little restaurant for a lunch of the National Dish of Belize: stewed chicken, coconut rice and beans, and fried plantains. It was fabulous. We were returned to the ferry in plenty time for the 3:00 p.m. ferry. Our entire group agreed that we would definitely do a tour with Jose again.

Altun Ha private tour - Jose was very knowledgeable and flexible. He customized our trip, accommodated extra stops and added to the fun of the trip. He even arranged for airport transportation the day after our tour.

Jose's driver was sick.... - Jose's driver was sick. He got Nelson who is independent contractor. He was very nice talked about city and history. Coming back He was driving too fast as if he wanted to catch a plane. Didn't say anything and he Van was so old and doors were also broken At least we were expecting better vehicle.
