You’ll be given a basic orientation and safety briefing before heading off on a 30-minute hike, which includes wading through a few knee-deep water streams. Don’t let the walk worry you, though; as it’s mostly on flat terrain, it is enjoyable and informative. The rainforest canopy shades it, and our tour guides will point out flora and fauna noteworthy to the area.

You’ll witness the complex crystalline patterns that adorn the cave, complete with a majestic array of rising and falling stalagmites and stalactites that enrich the opulence and grandeur of Xibalba, as it is known. If time allows, and adventurous spirit permits, our guides might pause at a mini cascading waterfall and swimming snippet. Departing the cascades, you’ll drift into daylight, carried downstream by a gentle flow and mild rapids, accompanied by the soothing sounds of birds and other natural wildlife, leading you back to the tour’s start point.
Next, it’s time for zip-lining that provides a panoramic view of Belize’s jungle as you whizz through the towering treetops at a thrilling velocity. A brisk walk leads to the gear zone where our seasoned guides will assist you in donning the necessary equipment.
