Our shore excursion got... - Our shore excursion got off to a bit of a rocky start due to the cruise ship tenders being late, but the staff waited for us. Once we were on our way, the 40-45 minute boat ride to Caye Caulker was very relaxing with beautiful views. The highlight of the excursion was definitely getting up close to the sharks and stingrays. It was an unforgettable experience, and my 5-year-old had an amazing time! He was totally mesmerized by the animals and couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. Ronaldo was a great guide!!

Best Snorkel Trip EVERRRRRR!!! - One of the highlights of our vacation, and it even topped our dolphin encounter! These guys are the best. The price was unbelievably reasonable and we were out for OVER FOUR HOURS (I think it was over 5 honestly). We took a little bit of time to get on to the boat, but that’s because we were waiting on other passengers. Our first stop was to order lunch, and take a bathroom break. We took our two littles (7 and 8 year old), and Clayton stuck with them for the whole snorkeling trip (even through my daughter’s wailing). The swim with the sharks and rays were breathtaking. I expected the area to be overrun with tourists and boats. Nope! There were a few (three, including us), but no one was crowded together. My daughter refused to get off the boat (claimed she didn’t want to die 🙄) , but my boy went in, Joe (I believe that was his name), held him as he looked around, until I got him. When J was over it, they lifted him back up into the boat, and the hubby and I got to take some time to look on our own and snap photos. Such an absolutely gorgeous location!!! After this, we went to feed tarpon (total surprise to us), and then finally back to eat lunch, and take a bathroom break. On the boat ride back, we went a different route, which was nice as we got to see the mangroves and a different view. We were back with enough time to slowly stroll the port, pick up some souvenirs, and then head back on board. It was a no stress time, and SO worth every penny, tip and more. Don’t hesitate on this one. If ever we’re in this port again, I’m definitely repeating for a round 2 ❤️

Great Experience - First time snorkeling, and I had the best time. I look forward to doing this same adventure again the next time I am in Belize. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and had the best experience at the Reef and the Shark/Ray swim. What an experience.

Nurse shark awesomeness - Was off to a rough start at first with a delay of close to an hour sitting on the dock. The trip was great once it started. And worth the wait. Lots of nurse sharks and stingrays. Stopped and hand fed tarpons on way back.

Fun Family Excursion - Pickup was easy and as described. Excursion was a blast. Jamal, our tour guide, was outstanding. Captain and other boat attendants were helpful. Had lunch at a great spot on Caye Caulker. Great family afternoon. Would 100% recommend if you like snorkeling or just looking for a fun adventure.

So sad and disappointing. - When I booked the excursion, I was told to leave the ship as early as possible. I gave the Splash Wave Tours the name of our ship and cruise line. We had to tender to shore and were in line as early as possible to get to shore. Due to no fault of our own, the tenders were running slowly and the cruise line was running late. When we arrived on shore we were all running around frantically trying to find the Splash Wave Tours through the Diamond International store as we were told. No one was around and we didn't receive any emails or texts. It was not a very relaxing morning on what was supposed to be a beautiful vacation day doing a highly anticipated snorkel trip in Belize. They knew which cruise line we were on and the that we had 5 people pre-paid for this trip. A nice man noticed our distress and asked us where we were going. He told us we missed the boat and put me on his phone with "the boss lady". Again, I had not received any communication from the tour company. The lady on the the phone with the Splash Wave Tours reassured me that an email would be sent and we would be reimbursed the $350.00 we had paid for 5 of us to go snorkeling. I have yet to receive an email or the $350.00 reimbursement. Needless to say, we were all very disappointed and will never book through this company again.

Do not use this company or group - Pointless. Ended up canceling cause the guide supposedly had no idea where the hotel was despite me providing name ans address and it was also an option in the dropdown and i couldn't reach them by viator. Because they did not have a local number only the viator customer service number. So ended up having to call viator directly for THEM to get in contact with the tour guide. But by then, I had gotten a taxi to the water ferry (had to pay for that), then get a water taxi to the island where the snorkeling takes place (had to pay for that) just to get to the island and not be able to go out cause all the boats had already gone out that morning (at 1030). I didn't get to cay caulker until 12. The excursion started with a 9 a.m. pick up. By the time I had already gotten to the water ferry it was 945 and I had already paid for the ticket (nonrefundable) when the tour guide finally showed up because i called viator and told them where I was. Also the tour guide told viator I never reached out to message them but I sent several messages via the app. I was told by a local it's best to get to the island THEN get a tour. There are plenty to choose from.
