For an added adventure, consider horseback riding to the base of this magnificent Mayan temple. The lush greenery is truly breathtaking. Some visitors may witness local women doing laundry in the river while children play nearby. Here, you will board a hand-cranked ferry that has transported countless visitors to the serene beauty of this Maya Temple. Upon reaching the other side of the river, you will dismount your horse and begin your journey to Xunantunich.
