Hurricane Ridge - Located in Washington’s Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge is a mountainous area approximately 18 miles (29 km) by road from Port Angeles. It offers opportunities for hiking, skiing, and snowboarding and is one of the two most popular sites in the national park.
We’ll pause for a light breakfast on our way to the Olympic National Park. Your guide will consider group preferences, weather conditions, diverse ecosystems, highlights, and crowd avoidance to craft a delightful day.
Although it takes about two and a half hours to reach Olympic National Park, it remains one of the most stunning destinations in Washington State, making it a top choice for day trips from Seattle. Situated on the Olympic Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest, it boasts a rich ecosystem.
- Marymere Falls - Travel west on Highway 101 from Port Angeles for 20 miles. At milepost 228, turn right into a large parking area marked for Lake Crescent and Marymere Falls. Continue 0.2 miles to the Storm King Ranger Station (on the shores of Lake Crescent).
The paved, horseshoe-shaped parking area is near the Ranger Station and restrooms, as well as a boat launch. Start your hike on the Marymere Falls Nature Trail.
