• Lake Kinrin - A walk to Lake Kinrin is planned. Nestled beneath Mt. Yufu, the lake was historically known as takemoto-no-ike or “lake under the mountain” by locals. It was renamed Kinrin, or “golden scales,” by Mori Kuso, a Confucius scholar, in 1884 after he observed golden-scaled fish in the waters at sunset.
