• National Ethnographic Museum Berat - Located in a stunning, typical 18th-century two-story Berat residence, the National Ethnographic Museum of Berat offers an engaging insight into the lifestyle traditions of this captivating town. The museum’s exhibits are thoughtfully arranged across the two stories of the former residence. The delightful journey through the exhibits provides a comprehensive view of the traditions and daily lives of Berat’s notable families.
• National Iconographic Museum Onufri - Constructed in 1797, this cathedral is located at the highest point of Berat Castle, though it may be a bit challenging to locate. While the Ottomans were Muslim, they permitted Christians to continue practicing their faith and build churches, albeit discreetly. This cathedral is one such example, featuring a typical design with three naves and two rows of tall stone columns. Inside, visitors are greeted by the Holy Altar adorned with exquisite engravings and paintings of Biblical scenes in the richly decorated iconostasis of the Cathedral – the only one remaining from the former metropolitan complex.
• Gorica Bridge - Experience some of the most stunning shades of red and gold in the museum. Then, proceed to the historic quarters of Mangalemi and Gorica, connected by the Gorica Bridge over the Osumi River.
• Cobo Winery - Wine tasting is the highlight of the day. Cobo Winery, situated in the Berat region of Albania, is a family-owned estate celebrated for its traditional winemaking methods. Established in the early 20th century, the winery produces premium wines using local grape varieties. At Cobo Winery, visitors can sample some of the finest wines in the region, accompanied by homemade bread, olives, and cheese.
