An Enjoyable Day Spent!! - We enjoyed an entire day with Tomas. He is fluent in English and we had enjoyable conversations the whole day. He loves history and shared a lot of information, so if Tomas is your driver please ask about the history for each spot visited. We loved how this private tour is completely catered to what you want to do and for how long. We were able to communicate with Tomas using WhatsApp to modify how long we wanted to stay at each place. He was quick to respond and pick us up promptly. Tomas really made this tour fun and enjoyable as it takes an entire day. A couple of suggestions: get to Eagles Nest early as the large tour groups show up around 10:30 am and be sure to contact The Europe Journey Team and request the links to purchase the tickets for the bus at Eagle Nest and the boat ride at Lake Königssee before you go. The Europe Journey Team was also very quick to respond using WhatsApp. They sent me our driver Tomas’ contact information the day before so I was able to touch base about the pickup time. Munich’s weather can change quickly so pack for both rain and sunshine. Overall we enjoyed each spot visited. Munich is a beautiful city with lots to see 💕

Munich to Salzburg with stops - Wonderful experience! Frank was a great driver & also knowledgeable about the area. The Eagles Nest & the Documentation Center were so good & informative. Ate lunch on top. Need couple of hours for museum. Bunkers really neat. Spent so much time there that we didn’t have time for Lake Konigssee (boat rides all sold out by lunch so buy tix early!). Salzburg Fortress was neat but kind of confusing to see/tour. We chose to stay in Salzburg rather than return to Munich. Definitely recommend Frank & this experience!

Private tour: Eagle’s Nest, Konigssee, Salzburg - Frank was an amazing driver. We arrived safely and timely at all of our destinations. He had great suggestions for things to see and where to eat. We were dropped off at easily accessible entrances and he was waiting to pick us up when we were done. Would definitely recommend this experience and Frank.

Standard tour, better communication and detailed information would have been helpful - The tour was what we expected and similar to others. I have done before for both sites. Peter, our driver, did a wonderful job with providing information and the guides inside of the sites were also informative and very professional. My only critique would be that when offering the option for a box lunch it would be important to note that there is limited options for lunch outside of that, based on the schedule and facilities. Had we known we would not be given an actual lunch break we would have bought the box lunches, and instead, our only real option was the vending machine. Additionally, we paid for a tour with a hotel pick up and unlike other options that instantly noted that our hotel was outside of their pick up zone this tour accepted our hotel as a pick up/drop off option and we were not informed that we would need to meet at a pick up point instead until the evening before our tour.
