Handy way to explore Bergamo upper town - Handy way to explore the upper town. Good descriptions of each place, especially some may have missed. I had trouble listening to the audio with my data roaming but could listen with the wifi in my hotel room.

Great Audio Tour! Great Price! - My husband was working so I needed a solo tour. This audio walking tour was the perfect way for me to see the main sights of Citta Alta in Bergamo. The sights were lovely. I only wish that the restaurant recommendation names had been written out in the guide in addition to spoken in the audio guide. I had no idea what the name was from just hearing it. I found a lunch place on my own though.

Great walking tour easy to follow. - This worked really well for us. We were able to amble along, stopping where we wanted to for as long as we wanted! The talk was interesting and amusing and gave some great tips. The directions were clear and easy to follow.

Helpful and recommended 🙂 - I didn't have high expectations... But it really surprised me, I found it very useful to have a general map of Bergamo and see different things (some of them I sure wouldn’t have seen or noticed). I ate at a restaurant recommended by Matías, I liked it very much and of course I didn’t miss the ice cream! Surely take Verona’s guide, because being able to do it at your own pace and stop for as long as you want in each thing or be distracted by others is a very positive point for me 🙂 so I recommend this guide.

Informational guiding through la Città Alta. - I’m glad I did it. It gave me an historical depth to my knowledge of Bergamo, and I went to places like La Rocca, San Viglio and La lavatoie, places which Are off the main street og Bergamo. And I got some advices what and where to eat. I highly recommend it.

Nice city trip - Bergamo is ideal for a short city trip of 2 or 3 days (excluding travel days.) In October it is chilly but still doable, everyone speaks English. Our hotel was located in the new part of town (città bassa) near a bus stop to the airport. 1st day; città alta with its churches, narrow old streets and wide views. Views with on one side the Alps, on the other side the Po Valley with the città bassa, the airport and the Atalanta football stadium. The 2nd day città bassa with the Carrara museum, its buildings, shops and restaurants. igv a 3rd day you can also go to Milan (only 50km). Beware; - on arrival, from the airport, the bus to Bergamo is on the left, on the right are the buses to Milan. You can buy a bus ticket on the bus itself, with your bank card. - on Tuesday the tourist train does not run, and the Carrara museum is closed. - a ticket for the funicular to or from the città alta is only valid for a good hour. It is not wise to buy a return ticket when you leave (or go down); it will expire (an hour is too little to see everything).

Got lost - I didn't understand where to go. I couldn't find what he was talking about. I ended up just wandering around. He did have a pleasant voice.
