beer, pizza, knowledge! - I took my friend on this tour and we had a great time. Cliff is as knowledgeable as he is friendly. I enjoyed being able to taste the raw ingredients and learn a bit about how to discern them in the beer itself.

Great night out and about! - We had a great time with Cliff on his Beer Tour in December 2024. Cliff is engaging, funny, and open to questions/discussion. He has that type of personality where you feel like he has been a friend for years, making the whole experience feel like a night out with friends. His tour was our first tour of our vacation and so when we had future tours, whenever we discussed what we learned from Cliff, we had multiple guides say to us that we must have had a great tour guide because of our knowledge of German beer and Craft not-beer (take the tour and you will know what that means). Highly recommend taking this tour!

Thankful to Chris for making our trip to Berlin amazing - This tour was fantastic. Chris was an excellent guide that had so much information about beer and the culture. We had a great time, laughs, beer and the best slice of pizza. What more could you want!

BEST TOUR EVER!!!! - This was the best tour I've ever been on. I've never been one to leave reviews, but Clif really deserves it. I highly recommend making this one of the first things you do in the city, as our guide was a fantastic resource for the rest of our trip. I'm not necessarily a beer connoissieur, but Clif gave us the tools to appreciate beer while recommending some of the best tasting drinks I've had! He clearly wants you to have a good time. As he gets to know you and members of your tour, your tour will change. He will give you something you're used to, and something that will open your mind to a whole other side of your pallette. All while taking you through the history of craft beer in the city, as well as highlighting the side of Berlin that tourists don't always get to see (in the best way possible). He has a great relationship with all of the breweries he takes you to, and will do his best to ensure you have a good time. At the end he recommended other things we should do in the city, which included the best meal on our trip! THANK YOU CLIF! If I ever go back to Berlin, I know I can count on this guy to give me a completely new and unique experience.

Knowledgeable and Thorough Tour - The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took all of our opinions on beer into consideration. He took us to many interesting places and encouraged us to try things we have not before.

Beer tour of Berlin. Prost! - Cliff had an extremely good knowledge of German beer history and it was also really good to use this as a grounding for why there is so little variety around German beer. Cliff took us on a tour of the fledging craft beer scene around Berlin with some interesting tales and stories that only a place like Berlin given its uniqueness could have. Cliff had an intricate knowledge of chemist and the brewing my process. We went to come lovely bars. It was way too hot, but that isn’t Cliff’s fault! Overall an excellent tour of beer around Berlin. 😀

An unforgettable experience - We had a great experience with Cliff, who not only taught us so much about beer, but also a lot about the city's history! I kept on wishing that I had brought a notebook to write everything down because he provided such a robust amount of information in an entertaining manner. Thanks Cliff!

East Berlin delight! - Fantastic and very knowledgeable host. Great tour around east Berlin neighbourhood. Learnt a lot about craft beer tasting and history of beer. Def recommend.
