It was great exploring... - It was great exploring neighborhoods in Berlin outside of the standard tourist areas and getting historical perspectives of each area.

Alternative angle on Berlin - Very enjoyable trip with Jonathan our guide. Saw different parts of the city, and although it was four hours, wasn’t too exhausting because we had a couple of stops. Showed us things we never would have seen otherwise

Highly recommend! - We had a great time exploring some really interesting spots that we would have never found on our own. Learned a ton about life in Berlin. Fantastic tour guide that I can't for the life of me remember his name.

Alternative Berlin - Do It! - Damien is a legend! Engaging in the most sweetly self-effacing way.,He completely stepped into the role of guide & story teller & we emerged more enlightened & thoroughly entertained. Berlin is a city of hidden gems. A guided tour is a must.

An afternoon well spent - Johnathan was our guide for the walk and he gave us a really well Informed and interesting walk around sites of Berlin. The history of all the wall art was particularly good as well as the history of living in Berlin since the war. Would highly recommend this trip

Amazing - Fantastic tour. Very warm and getting guide (Damien) who was very informative. Every stop was clearly thought out with history explained into its modern setting. Group was casual and friendly, which really spearheaded the energy of the tour

After quite a few WWII... - After quite a few WWII and Cold War Berlin tours, having a taste of what modern day Berlin has evolved and continues to evolve was fun to go through! Our guide, Reese, was knowledgeable and truly came across as someone who is immersed in the alternative culture that defines Berlin, and not just someone who was reading out from facts. Probably the highlight was the playground where kids 6-16 build most of it without adult supervision, and burn down a third of it every year to renew and make space for new building! I think that really sums up the spirit of what could only, perhaps, happen in Berlin. I was worried about the amount of walking with the length of the tour, but it includes 2-3 legs that are covered on public transport and has about 20-30 minutes set aside for lunch as well. Just a note to others who take the tour: the end of the tour wasn’t at the published end provided in the ticket, but a bit further into Kreuzberg. This wasn’t a problem for us, but I can imagine this may be an issue if you were planning on ending at a specific place for following appointments. I genuinely found this be one of the best tours I’ve done in Berlin.

Great informative tour - Lots of new information. Why does Berlin have so much graffiti, why are there so many new buildings in the eastern part and not in the west? Why is there the squatter scene? The guide Damian was great
