We’ll kick off our journey from Bilbao to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, where we’ll have the opportunity to climb to its summit if we wish. Its climb is made up of 241 steps and it will feel as if we’re rising towards one of the key fortresses from the TV series Game of Thrones: Dragonstone. After that, we’ll head to the town of Bermeo, a quaint fishing village steeped in marine tradition. Wrapping up our trip, we’ll move to Gernika, the Basque town that inspired the famous Pablo Picasso’s painting bearing its name. Here, we’ll explore the serene gardens of the “Gernika Assembly Hall”.
