Great view - Beautiful place to visit. Takes around 50 minutes by car from Bilbao. The road is often signal. You can park the car for 3.5 euros and enjoy the view. There is a Taverna with good food option for you to eat outside or even inside; and there is a sitting down tablecloth restaurant. We just had lunch bacalao and salad at the Tavern. Do pay attention to that info: you need to book in advance in order to be able to walk down the 241 steps as it’s a Natural reserve and crowed is limited. If you don’t have a tkt you can go to the view point, a quite easy 10 minutes walk. Worthy

Great day trip from Bilbao - Terrific day trip from Bilbao, organised through Viator. Be warned: the hike to and from the chapel at the top of the hill is not for the faint-hearted but a great walk once you've done it! The other stops were just a bonus but our mall group had a great time.

I did not do the hike but... - I did not do the hike but enjoyed the tour just as much. It is beautiful countryside to say the least and the history in Guernica was so interesting. Stephane did a wonderful job in guiding us and I appreciated his thoughtfulness in speaking English and Spanish. Thanks for a great day.

THE HERMITAGE THAT BECAME CASTLE - Spectacular place, ideal to enjoy some family time. The only catch that can be put is that the tour is not suitable to go with wheelchairs, child chairs, etc.

Beautiful trip! However, the guide didn’t wait for the group to be together to give explanations in walking tour. - This is a wonderful trip. The beauty and the scenery of Bilbao were incredible. However, a passenger got sick on the bus. The guide was rude and made unnecessary comments about the incident. During the walking parts of the tour, the guide didn’t wait for the travelers to be together to start the explanations. So we missed some of it. For this trip, I recommend to use hiking shoes and bring water. The terrain before you arrive at the San Juan of G… Monastery is uneven and long. It is hard for persons who are not fitted. You get exhausted before you start climbing the actual stairs that are more easy to walk.

Just ok and very rushed - Gaztelugatxe was beautiful. The other two stops were very very rushed. There was barely any time to appreciate them. The guide and driver were kind and helpful. However I didn't get much from the guides commentary. Maybe Spanish speakers will get more out of the narration. The bus was clean and driven safely. Overall I was disappointed with the tour.
