Comprehensive tour of beautiful Bern - This tour was accessed through your phone at the specific time. It was 150 different points of interest. It was supposed to take 3 hours but in fact took much longer. It was a comprehensive history of Bern full of detail and fascinating facts. The meticulous detail of the locations made it easy to navigate. At the end restaurants and the train station were signposted. This tour enabled us to learn about and enjoy this beautiful city at our own pace. A word of warning- the tour uses a lot of phone battery - we needed to recharge our phone half way through.

Gentle walking tour through Bern old town - This is a gentle tour at your own pace, as you can pause the dialogue at any time, go for a coffee and start off again where you left off

What a fantastic and very informative tour - What a fantastic and very informative tour. Ok, so you have to do a lot of walking but you always stop off for a coffee when you need to, as I did. This doesn’t cover a big area and you’ll find yourself revisiting places but from a different angle but it’s a great introduction into Berns history and the thing I loved the most is most of the places on the tour you would normally walk straight past. It’s all spoken very clearly and the directions given are accompanied with photographs so you know exactly where you should be. I had a problem at first accessing the walk but after asking for help got an answer back within minutes and needed no further assistance. A great tour!

I would recommend this city walking tour - There is quite a bit of walking. The full-time for the tour would probably be approaching five hours. However, they go into a lot of detail for certain sculptures or stain glass windows. That’s easy to skip through if you’re not interested. The walking directions are excellent.

A must for what you see. - Very comprehensive. Really adds perspective to what you’re seeing. A bit too long in spots, though, requiring at least 5-6 hours including breaks.

Good option - The instructions on the tour were very good and clear. I liked that you could go to the next section if you did not feel you wanted to hear the minute details if every stop.

Good and really detail... - Good and really detail oriented. A little too long in our opinion, we only got to the 40th point out of the 150 stops. Also, it gives the impression that it is made by AI, so the voice gets a little boring after an hour.

The self guided tour was... - The self guided tour was pretty boring unfortunately. The man’s voice was boring and he spent far too much time talking about stained glass windows and other fairly dull things. It needs to be shorter and more engaging. No one needs 5 minutes audio on a window!

Not very tourist friendly - Not very user friendly. I couldn’t locate the map and the link took me to a 105 pages document. I ended up paying more money to buy a different self guide walking tours
