Unique experience - A beautiful experience... if there was a self-guide or brochure in Italian would be the top. The guide speaks French too fast

Very informative visit - A stone's throw from Hackenberg, the Michelsberg's structure is smaller but has the largest eclipse turret (265 tons) in manual working order. The Rémy guide is ungluable on the site.

What a magnificent discovery - An exceptional and unknown site, full of history told with passion by volunteers. To see absolutely, it is worth a detour

Looking back in time - Two hours in the underworld: A hike through an underground bastion, on the way functional and also switched on power generators, and lots of interesting information.

Outstanding Maginot line bunker tour - Outstanding, detailed tour of fort including generator running and climb to top of 135 mm gun. Impressive restoration of living and working quarters. Very cold - bring winter dress for 30 deg F. English guide book available. Don't miss this!!

Very nice discovery, to make without hesitation - Great visit, you can feel the passion and willingness that volunteers have to maintain the work, and to share their knowledge. Place that deserves to be visited and known, especially do not hesitate to stop there to discover a small piece of our history

Worth the trip! - Very interesting visit of a defense structure whose state of conservation is remarkable. In two hours the Guide plunged us into the strange war and the beginning of the German offensive in May 1944. Volunteers maintaining this structure and the contents (guns, turrets, generators, etc.) give a real insight into the soldier's life in this fort.

Must-see. - Visit commented by the president of the association who is a true enthusiast and discovers the history of the Maginot Line through explanations available to all. The visit lasts about 2 hours 30 minutes and it is essential to wear warm clothes, even very warm (temperature 13° with a huge humidity!). A must-visit because if we know the existence of the Line, we do not imagine the complexity and size of the structure..And Michelsberg is only a tiny part of it.

Great and highly recommended - We loved it. We knew about the Maginot line but we would never have imagined its magnitude. Extraordinary restoration and conservation work they are doing. 100% recommended. I don't give it a 5 because they should be better prepared for non-French speakers, some kind of audio guide would be fantastic.

Worth seeing and positive - Audio guide in German would be desirable to make the impressions appear even more tangible. Nevertheless, the tour was very, as the gentleman who led the tour tried very hard.
